Such a peaceful getaway in the country. We loved waking up to sound of cowbells from just outside. This location was perfect; 30 min from all the hikes we wanted to as well as Salzburg.

Franz's place was a very nice place. It is close to a lot of wonderful food places like Vinothek and Stadtkrug. Everyone around the town was kind and always wishing to say hi. The mountains were beautiful everywhere you went looked like a postcard. The train station was within walking distance so you can easily take a day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg. Most importantly Fran was responsive and always checked in to see how we were. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is simply an insider tip! Cozy furnishings and the view of the mountains is priceless. Our 20-month-old daughter loved playing with the Lego Duplo train that is available in the apartment. In addition, the chickens in the yard were a highlight for the child, we had to go several times a day to feed them with leftovers and from time to time there was also a freshly laid egg. In addition, a small nice playground. It was also great that we were allowed to use the wallbox to charge our e-car in the sunshine. Thank you and hopefully we'll be back!
