Monthly Rentals in Half Moon Beach

My girlfriend and I had a great time at the studio. I told the host I was traveling to Jamaica for mango season and on the day of arrival fresh East Indian mangoes were awaiting us on the veranda table. Our host supplied us with mangoes and bananas every day up to the last day we checked out. She also offered quick turnaround laundry services with clothes returned wrinkle free and folded to perfection. We rarely saw our host in person, but she was always attentive to serving our needs while preserving our privacy. All communications and requests were done through the Airbnb app via texting. The top highlights of our experience at the studio was, the fresh mangoes, the rain shower head, the spacious bathroom and bedroom, piece and quietness, great water pressure and last but not least the very comfortable king size bed. Thanks again Jennifer, we’ll be back soon.

You will not be disappointed. Denise and her staff, more like family, are friendly, attentive to your needs, accomodating, and fun. The location is perfect because you are close to the hustle and bustle of Montego Bay and Negril, but nestled in a cozy piece of Jamaican heaven. You can either enjoy a homecooked meal by Denise, herself, or the grillmaster, Patrick, either way, you will be full and your tastebuds will sing. There are fruit trees so I enjoyed picking a starfruit (my favorite) and delighting in how wonderful Jamaica is on the soul. Lastly, when I caught a little cold, Denise not only checked on me, she brought me medicine, delicious soup, and other things to help me get well soon. You will need a car to get around, but Denise and her team are available (for less than an Uber) to transport you to and from. I visit Jamaica several times a year and Denise’s is by far one of my favorite rental units I’ve stayed. If you are on the fence about booking, hop on off and book.

The complex is beautiful and very idyllic. if you (like us) book in the low season, you have to keep in mind that no restaurant or shop is open directly on the remote grounds - you always have to take a taxi to the next village or to Negril (about 20-30 min. drive). Taxi driver was recommended to us on the first day and we always drove with him (Carl was easy and very accessible) - totally likeable and very uncomplicated man btw 😊👌 Private beach and pool clean and very nice. Room as described.

We enjoyed our stay at Karen’s place and would definitely stay again. The housekeeper was amazing and a fantastic cook! I highly recommend her food! Karen was always responsive and friendly. And the private beach was clean and beautiful. Everything about this property, inside and out, was very clean. I felt very safe on this property with my young children. The restaurants and grocery storein downtown Negril is only a short taxi ride away.
