Great place to stay, just outside the buzz of Amsterdam and behind the transport area, so travelling from airport or city was super easy. Carlos' place had everything we needed. It's their home, so expect it to be lived in. perfect for our needs. They kept in touch about things we needed and we're very helpful.

We had a wonderful family holiday staying at Nicole's house. The location was perfect for exploring Holland especially with the 15 minute train journey into Amsterdam. Haarlem is lovely too with lots to see and do. The house was perfect for our family with lots of space. My daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline while she was waiting for everyone to get ready for a day out! I would highly recommend.

Frans and Tessa have a fantastic eye for design. Especially the ground floor with light-flooded kitchen and the dining room with access to the garden were cozy and welcoming to eat there and spend nice evenings. You could relax at the jetty and the neighbors were super friendly. It's just a few minutes drive to Haarlem center. The two took a lot of time and answered all the important questions on arrival and at any time. For us, the mattress in the double bed was very soft and the nightly ventilation was a bit complicated if you don't want to leave the large windows open completely. All in all but a recommended place to stay!

The house is really spacious, bright & there is everything you need (amazing kitchen!). Few minutes away from the train station & shops in a very quiet street. Arianne was very friendly & easy to communicate. Highly advise to try the jacuzzi ☺️, a big plus after a day of cycling around!

Had a great stay at Joosts House! Its easy to reach different places such as Noordwijk or Leiden and has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the Whirlpool and spacious living room and Kirchen which ist great for big groups. Communication was great, thanks a lot!

This is a great house just 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes cycle to the centre of Haarlem. It’s also really easy to access the nearby beaches. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood. There’s a very good supermarket just a few minutes walk away. The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable. Ilan is a great host, available to help whenever needed. We’d be extremely happy to stay here again.

Perfect home for the 5 of us. Close to train and bus for trips to Harlem, Amsterdam and elsewhere. Nice quiet neighborhood. Appreciated recommendation to rent bikes from Behind the Beach. They had both standard and electric bikes. If it’s your first time to Holland remember the homes have very steep narrow stairs to second and third level but this home also has sturdy hand rails! The home is beautiful. The main floor is an open concept but laid out really well. The home is next to a couple of business so it does get a little noisy but it wasn't really that noticeable. The home is also close by to all the tulip fields. Sven and Patricia were great hosts. Patricia met us at the home and did a walk through with how to work the thermostat and lighting. She also sent us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The only draw back to this entire experience is that we didn't stay longer.

We felt comfortable. We liked the private garden and the open tastefully furnished living area. Of course, the cat Poppy was the highlight for our kids. Poppy is a friendly and easy-care cat. As described, the connection to the beach is really great and quickly accessible. There are also many ways to do things and excursions. There was always a friendly and quick exchange with hosts. It was very nice.

Perfect stay! A beautiful villa, very well equipped and maintained. Beautiful design, luxury amenities, attention to details and all in all a wonderful stay. Jolanda was super responsive and very kind. Highly recommended!

Very large house, perfect for a large family like ours. Spacious and bright rooms, The kids loved the many games and books available. Large and well-equipped kitchen, with direct access to the garden behind. Impeccable host, provided accurate and helpful guidance. Perfect location to visit North Holland by car (don't miss the island of Texel).

We had a wonderful weekend with the family! Really enjoyed the fantastic garden and sauna. The house also has all the comforts. We were warmly received and there was pleasant communication with Kirsten. Absolutely recommended!

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

The complex and the accommodation were very nicely landscaped and well maintained. The lakeside location is very nice for walks and the restaurant on the grounds is excellent. There is also a lot on offer for children.
