What a wonderful way to visit San Miguel de Allende! We felt completely welcome and comfortable in this restored casa with an open air courtyard, beautiful flowers and a stunning terrace view. The housekeeper, Patty, was very nice and made wonderful classic Mexican food for us. The location was perfect for walking to the square, overlooks, the park and everywhere in between. Many great experiences were had and this was the perfect home base. Do not hesitate to stay here - you will not regret it! A note to future renters, if your flight arrives late you will need to arrange how to get in ahead of time with the rental company. If your flight arrives later than 9 pm it would be good to stay near the airport and travel to SMA the next day and begin your stay at Casa Lacardo then. Another tip: SMA is a mostly a cash economy unless you are eating/ shopping at a more established restaurant.

Large, beautiful, and interesting house. Lots of spaces to explore. Maria was very friendly and helpful.

Love the garden and the birds and butterflies. Sweet little store 2 blocks away, quiet street and coffee shop nearby. We walked to town every day and were so glad to return to our quiet oasis.

Our stay was very pleasant. The house is just as shown in the photos: beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped for relaxing. Grace was an excellent host, always attentive and willing to help at all times. The breakfast included is a nice touch and it was delicious, although as a suggestion, it would be ideal to add a few more options, such as coffee cream. A couple of things to consider: housekeeping is not included during the stay, and we noticed that shampoo was missing in the downstairs bathroom. Still, the overall experience was very good and I would definitely recommend this place

Host was very responsive & allowed us to leave our luggage before check in. The bed was very comfortable & there was ample filtered water. Great location- very walkable & nice decor. Host was very helpful with local tips!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Piña. Aleida was very responsive and thorough with directions and house guides and Guadalupe made our arrival very welcoming. Other than the house being very beautiful and just as pictured, it is located on a very popular street known for its amazing views of the parish which you can also see from the many terrazas in the house. The casa was a peaceful getaway from the bustle of the streets. We enjoyed walking to La Colmena for fresh bread and coffee in the mornings and back to the plaza in the evening to admire the parish and mariachis. And most importantly, Guadalupe’s breakfast every morning was the highlight of our day. She was such a joy and my littles enjoyed her warm candor. Lorena also kept the rooms very tidy and clean and assisted with our laundry. We plan to return soon! This place is a real gem.

Adobe's house is a lovely place, all the spaces feel comfortable and spacious, with all the services and amenities you can expect and need. Location provides security and privacy. My family and friends really liked it so we will be looking to come back soon. Marta, our host was very attentive to our arrival, she explained everything in detail and I give us a lot of information. He resolved all our doubts and did his best because our stay was pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay! Do not hesitate, this place is fantastic. The location is a bit out of town, we loved the walk down but did take taxis home (very inexpensive and easy to find). We loved the pool and the tranquility but mostly we loved Theresa...she truly makes you feel at home and takes wonderful care of you. Her meals are delicious and she is a kind and sweet person with a great sense of humor. We have stayed in SMA many times and this place was a favorite, we hope to return. Paula took the time to help me plan our visit via phone before our arrival which was very helpful and kind. Thank you Paula and Theresa!!

Pictures do not do justice to this gorgeous home that once belonged to the famous tenor, Pedro Vargas. The property is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and offers amazing views of San Miguel de Allende. Brandon was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond by helping us arrange a historical tour and coordinating taxi rides for our large group. The breakfast included with the rental was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this stunning home for anyone looking to experience the charm of San Miguel de Allende!

It's a very beautiful house, much better than what you see in the photos, we felt very comfortable because we were looking for privacy to have a nice time with the family and rest... without a doubt and, if the hosts don't mind, we would like to return!!! we had a great time and everything was very nice... even the people in the development were very kind, they guided us to get in and out!!! excellent weekend with my mom and my sisters' moms!!! Magnificent hidden gem! This property is better than the photos, and allows you to live in a Spanish Colonial townhome/mansion. Truly a gorgeous oasis, and also an art collector's home, filled with beautiful things, and fully stocked for your comfort. The pool and courtyard fountain make you feel like you are in a private resort. The 4th floor roof top covered living/dining/bar/fireplace is perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail or glass of wine with a stunning nighttime view of two church steeples. The property is so lush with potted plants and flowers that a gardener tends to it. I can't say enough good things about this property and excellent location. The best part is Rosalinda the cook, and Leticia the chambermaid. They are the sweetest and kindest souls; true caregivers. You can pick out recipes from the binders/cookbooks in the kitchen, give them money for groceries and they will cook 2 meals a day for you. We felt like royalty! Jod's dining recommendations were 5-Star!
