If you love privacy and nature, this is the best Airbnb to stay at in Mindo. It had all the amenities needed to feel right at home. Look no further if you want to wake up to the sound of birds in the morning. The kitchen had the basics for cooking, washer/dryer worked well. WiFi/TV worked well. Keep in mind it’s a little far from Mindo town, but our host was super proactive in getting us in touch with local taxi’s.

Staying with Adriana was beautiful, we felt right at home. The place was very quiet but close to waterfalls.

Cheryl's house is very nice, it is super comfortable and spacious, the furniture is of top quality, the kitchen has all the implements for cooking, the landscape of mountains from the house is very beautiful. We like the enlistment of birds and saw many species from the house and also Cheryl accompanied us to a very close Lek to see peña roosters (carry binoculars). It is an excellent base to explore the surrounding area, we went to the Tulipe Museum and several waterfalls in the Alianza area. Cheryl is very attentive and responds quickly, she is very nice and helps you with everything you need.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at La Maga. The place is as described and as seen in the pictures. We agree with all of the previous reviews, in that the place is surrounded by nature. We had monkeys come visit one morning and saw various Toucan birds near the house. Our favorite part was walking the path to town each day where we encountered more birds. There are other paths to nearby to explore, so bring a light/torch for a self-guided night walk. This place is perfect for nature lovers. The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking your own meals (although there are many good restaurants in town). There is hot water for the showers. Martita was a great and responsive host and was available for my questions.
