Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Once described by Wainwright as one of Westmorland's loveliest villages, it lies on the Coast to Coat walk and is surrounded by breath-taking scenery. Located within The Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District is close by as are the Cumbrian towns of Kendal, Sedbergh, Appleby and Penrith. There is a local pub, an excellent shop/post office, a cafe and a even a Chocolate Factory with tearoom!

South Cottage, Orton is a 2 bedroom cottage situated 6 miles from The Lake District National Park and nestled within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Orton itself is very popular and is situated on the famous Coast to Coast route. It has an award winning cafe and a chocolate shop, a monthly farmers market, a village store and a village pub! The cottage is really cosy, pet-friendly and has super-fast WiFi. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay welcoming, cosy and fun!

The living area features exposed wooden beams and a combination of leather and fabric seating. A rustic coffee table is positioned in the center, adorned with two cups and snacks. Natural light floods in through multiple windows, enhancing the cozy ambiance.
