Vacation rentals with lake access in Greene County

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. This house had every amenity you could imagine. Very clean, private, easy access, comfortable with luxurious bedding, great showers, arcade games, and a great hot tub!

The place was exactly what we were looking for - remote, quiet, with beautiful surroundings, and a very-well equipped house, with tons of details and nice touches. Laura was always responsive, and provided clear instructions.

Lisa was a very good host and responded to my messages in a reasonable amount of time. The house was nicely decorated and spacious for our group (5 people). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The location actually turned out to be better than originally thought for what we wanted to see and do. We were basically 10-15 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville, wineries, and Monticello. We had a great time and plan to come back.

Wonderful weekend stay right on the river. Easy access to the hazel river, Shenandoah national park, as well as some short trails right on the property. Spectacular views from every window and multiple decks. It’s easy to sit and read a book while listening to the peaceful sounds. This property is beautiful with everything you need to feel right at home. It felt more like a home than a rental property. It was well decorated and somewhere you actually want to spend time vs drop your stuff and head out. We enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

Main contact was Holly, provided updates and heads-up when the lawn maintenance crew was stopping by. Large enough house for a family vacation to create proximity, but also enough distance that we weren't too crowded (with 11 guests).

Gary was courteous, responsive and flexible during our time leading up and during our stay. My family and I enjoyed the amenities as well and peaceful seclusion the property brought during Mother’s Day weekend. Willing to help every step of the way, we have no issues with the property and are hopeful to rebook at the same venue for other occasions as well. Highly recommend!

We were in Luray for a family wedding and am so glad we discovered Joseph House. It's a beautiful historic home surrounded by gorgeous, peaceful scenery. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city!

Clean, modern, and large space with an awesome view and lot's of privacy. Internet worked well. Be prepared to not have cell service, so make sure you know the route well. My car's built-in nav took us to the wrong location. If you find the 415 sign, go down to the right of it.

This is my second time here. Love the quiet, and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect for what I needed.

We came to Charlottesville for our son's graduation from UVA. This home was the perfect getaway for the weekend. Ann and Jim are welcoming and accommodating hosts. The home is immaculate and the surrounding countryside is idyllic. I can't say enough about this location. I didn't want to leave!

Fantastic apartment on a beautiful lakefront property within short drive to Charlottesville. Highly recommend this place. Very clean and quiet, close to a trail and walking path that runs quite a ways down local streets/highway as well as around the lake.

Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!

I had a great abs peaceful time in the White Lotus Suite. I would have loved to have known that the suite is located on the second floor of the Castle in advance as I had a large musical instrument I was traveling with. Folks who need accessible accommodations should be aware that there is a flight of stairs!

This was my second stay at White Locus Eco Resort. Each suite is a different experience. The barn was very quiet and made a great place to work remotely. It was fun meeting guests in common areas across the resort and everyone was respectful. This is a great retreat for both extroverted and introverted alike. I will return soon! Thank you for everything!

We spent some days at Diane’s place and it was really lovely. The location is very private and silent, the house is tidy and had everything we needed, and the property was well-equipped with stuff we were allowed to use like canoes or a grill. Already on the property, we saw rabbits, dears, a turtle and a bunch of fireflies in the evening. We had a great time!

Great cabin. Nice warm heater. Great kitchen. Great nature vibes. Right next to a small pond that you can canoe in.

We loved the home, very cozy and welcoming! It had the perfect views of the river as well.

Great getaway for our family of 4! Our 5 and 2 year old enjoyed making s'mores by the fire pit, canoeing for the first time and walking the trails. It was amazing to wake up and have coffee on the deck and the mountain view from the top of the hill was gorgeous! I wish we would've had more time to explore the town but we had a great trip and would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is spacious, with lots to explore. It is quiet, private, and feels like a real getaway. The staff were attentive, generous and very communicative. We explored the property with our two dogs, who also had a great time. The cottage had plenty of space, was clean, had great hot water, comfy beds, solid heating, and everything else we could have wanted. We look forward to coming back!

My daughter and I stayed at Taby’s place for a girls weekend and we had the best time. There were cute coffee places nearby and fun shopping. We appreciated the attention to detail, the coffee and tea provided and the comfort of the space. Taby came to the pool and gave us local businesses to support. Don’t miss this place!
