Vacation rentals with a kayak in Greene County

We had a wonderful trip at this house! We were a group of 6 adults and 5 small children and it still felt very spacious. The house and view was beautiful. And the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The host was wonderful and even instacarted us paper towels when I asked if they had extra. The surrounding area is pretty quiet but we were 45 minutes from hunter mountain which wasn’t bad! Would visit again.

We loved Kathryn’s place! It was so peaceful and pretty, we loved having lake access, and it was convenient to drive to several local towns with great restaurants. The whole family enjoyed the kayaks and the community pool and the lovely outdoor space. My favorite part of the stay was the friendly fox who would visit the property in the mornings. Kathryn was also a wonderful host and responsive to our questions/messages. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Kimberlee’s place. The place was just as described and had enough space to conveniently accommodate our group. Kimberlie was also very responsive. The check-in and out process was seamless and there was lots to do on the property!

The location is great—peaceful yet convenient. Communication with Daniel was smooth and helpful throughout, and his guidance made everything easy. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was spacious, cozy, and even better in person than we imagined. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, and the assortment of games provided kept everyone entertained for hours. A Hidden Gem for the Perfect Long Weekend! This place is absolutely stunning—so peaceful, private, and exactly what we needed for a long weekend getaway. One of my favorite things was how secluded it felt. It truly gave us that “escape from the world” vibe. We had the best time paddle boarding on the pond, soaking up the sun, and even getting in some friendly pickleball matches. The space is beautifully maintained, with everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay. Perfect for families. One tip: don’t forget the bug spray! We didn’t pack any and ended up being a feast for the mosquitos. But honestly, even that couldn’t take away from how magical this spot is. Can’t wait to come back!

This home is tucked into a wooded lot along Sleepy Hollow Lake. The home was thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. This was the first time that we have rented a home attached to an HOA, and while that brought additional conditions to be mindful of, our stay was easy and laid back. The access to the water and boats lent to afternoons of fun and the space inside was comfortable and spacious. We spent so much time playing in the lake and exploring the area that we never got the chance to check out the clubhouse pool and accommodations. Michael was prompt with communication gave great recommendations and our directions were clear and easy to follow.

I celebrated the weekend of my birthday with 5 friends and we had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed to cook/serve/entertain and we really enjoyed making use of the amenities in the house as well as the dock for lakeside activities. We found everything comfortable and clean and would happily return.

This place is literally a beautiful hidden gem! Pretty private, great views - especially on foggy mornings and sunny evenings and quite close to the lake. Melissa and Andrew were very friendly and generously gave us a tour of the nearby main cabin/event space/her house. Andrew was helpful in setting up the fire pit by the lake.

Camp Schultz was perfect for our group to enjoy a peaceful, fun, calm vacation enjoying all that the lake and area had to offer. This is a great option if you’re like our group and enjoy cooking most of your meals at home, the kitchen was well stocked with staples which we really appreciated. The Lake, watercrafts, and private dock area was so amazing. Overall an amazing stay and we would book again in a heartbeat!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! This house is super clean, great layout, and has everything needed for great stay. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Orlando was very quick to respond to all of our correspondences. He was always kind and professional when communicating with us. We stayed in the house during a snowy, chilly week in December. The house was nice and warm upon our arrival and we immediately felt right at home. The lake views are beautiful from inside the house and deck. Comfortable bed, nice furniture, and a well stocked kitchen. Airbnb photos accurately represent this lovely home. There is plenty to do in the area or you can just stay at the home and enjoy! We already booked another stay for the end of December. Thank you Orlando for sharing your home and making us feel safe and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed Maria's charmingly curated lake home on our recent summer vacation. All the provided water toys were well used as were the varied selection of seating areas in sun and shade. We breakfasted in the screen room, grilled dinners on the spacious lake-view deck, and made s'mores by moonlight at firepit. Memories were made cooking and baking in the impressively stocked kitchen while family chatted from the well appointed seating areas. For cyclists, the surrounding quiet country roads offer mountain climbs to easy pastoral pedals. We made scenic excursions to nearby historic towns (Hudson, Athens & Coxsackie) and also enjoyed the beautiful community pool and beach, but would easily have been content to nest- reading, puzzling and sketching the days away. This was the ideal get-away with something for everyone, of any age. We are grateful to Maria for creating this paradise and opening it up for us to enjoy.
