Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Greene County

This is the second time I stayed at John’s property. It is conveniently located on campus, and walkable to the stadium. The home is furnished tastefully, clean and stocked with all essentials. John also responds quickly to questions. I would definitely recommend checking out this property. It’s a gem!

We loved our family stay at Joe’s place. It was close to IU for graduation. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces—the hot tub was a bonus! Very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. Joe was very communicative, responding right away. Couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Would highly recommend.

Price was a little high, but for the university graduation weekend, it was to be expected. Hotel rooms go for $1500 a night!

Nice and relaxing . House was very nice, clean and in good walking distance to everything. Host gave great instructions and let us enjoy our time. Really enjoyed the stay 10/10 would stay again

Lots of spices to make cooking easy. Kitchen included a pod coffee machine, with several flavored pods. Backyard with fire pit and chairs makes sitting outside nice. A few blocks from the "b-line" walking/biking trail, which leads to other parks/restaurants. Walking distance to several good restaurants. Small part across the street.

We had both of Amy’s airbnbs over IU graduation wknd. We’ve been staying at the campus house for 4 yrs. I just realized that I left a review for that house on her woodland retreat house (new to Airbnb). Doesn’t seem to be a way to edit, so I’ll comment on that here: Outdoor wonderland! Beautiful! The house is great and comfortable, too! Amy’s artistic eye is obvious :) Having gotten to know Amy during our daughter’s past 4 yrs of undergrad at IU, I can attest that she is not only one of the best Airbnb hosts, but truly one of the kindest people on the planet💚…our dogs agree☀️

had a pleasant stay at Nicolas’s basement studio. The space was impressively clean and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Nicolas clearly takes pride in keeping the studio in great condition—everything from the floors to the bathroom felt freshly cleaned and tidy. The studio itself is well-organized and has all the basics you need for a short stay. The furniture was comfortable, and the bed provided a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the quiet and privacy that came with being in a basement space—it felt like a peaceful retreat. That said, one thing to be aware of is that the studio is a bit dim. As it’s located in a basement, there’s limited natural light, which made it feel a little enclosed during the day. Adding more lighting or finding a way to increase natural light would definitely improve the overall atmosphere. Still, if you’re looking for a clean, cozy, and quiet place to stay, this studio is a solid option.

The home was very nicely decorated and very clean. Libby left us snacks and drinks which was very much appreciated after our long drive. We didn’t get to spend much free time at the house because we were visiting friends but next time we will have to try out the hot tub! The home was perfect for our weekend, clean and comfortable and the 2nd bathroom was really nice to have. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Lake Lemon.

We had a great stay at this property. We were so impressed with the cleanliness, all of the new amenities, the comfort of the family room, the adorable backyard, etc. Everything was just perfect!

I cannot say how thankful I was to find this place while looking for the perfect eclipse viewing spot. The host was very helpful as I was trying to time the weather and ability to move around, if needed. Her place was amazing - remote, beautiful and spacious, with stylish decor and so clean! As I was driving in, later than I had planned, she gave me a video of how to get inside which worked perfectly. I got inside and stopped and realized the space was exactly as pictured. Clean and quiet, peaceful, this was going to be THE spot for viewing the event of a lifetime. The host family was generous with suggestions on where to go in town, how to interact with the animals, snacks and beverages (which saved me on my late arrival) and access to wander the property and time to relax. They allowed me to view the eclispe is a private back pasture which was a stunning backdrop for the eclipse Everything was absolutely perfect and I would love to visit again! Thank you for an amazing experience. ♥

Property was accurate to description and photos online. Couch should not be considered as sleeping option for adults.

Her studio was great. Well equipped and clean with a short drive into town. She was very accommodating and responsive and would absolutely recommend her beautiful property.

Overall it was great place and served its purpose … Great gathering space but for 8 people to hang out in the common area it could use more seating. I would recommend this over separate hotel rooms for a group traveling together !

My friends and I were in town for a wedding at The Wilds. Very convenient for getting to the wedding venue and to and from downtown Bloomington. If I’m ever back in Bloomington with a large group I would definitely book Nancy’s place again.

We had the most incredible weekend at Garrett & Ewa’s place! They communicated so well with us before hand when planning my sister’s wedding celebration! Everyone loved the space. It was all as pictured and even better than expected!

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is perfect! Waking up and enjoying our coffee under the new pergola was pure bliss! The birds singing created the most enchanting and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start each day and truly unwind. Highly recommend taking advantage of this beautiful outdoor space! We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

A beautiful cabin , very secluded and peaceful. Had everything we needed , place was decorated very cute and welcoming. A nice reset from the city. would definitely return.

Fantastic host and beautiful place. Definitely will stay there again. We’re coming back to catch “Fred”, which we lovingly named the HUGE catfish in the lake! Highly recommend!

We stayed for a weekend but wish it had been longer! The property is clean, beautiful, and peaceful. We especially enjoyed watching all of the wildlife. John and Barb were responsive and friendly, and we felt like we could definitely let them know if we needed anything. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

A really cozy cabin! My mom and I loved the space and felt very comfortable during our stay. I must mention that there are no anti slip grips on the tub, so be careful in the shower! I also wish there was a little less grit in the bottom of the hot tub, but I understand that can’t always be helped and all other aspects were clean. Overall: wow. We got to spend time in the hot tub, listened for birds on the porch, and enjoyed our short drive to Nashville for shopping and good eats! (Hard Truth Distilling and Ferguson House were faves.) The place was clean and well organized.

The house and location were exactly as described. It was clean, homey, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!
