Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Greece

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

A true gem with a beautiful view. If you're looking to escape the stress of everyday life, this is the perfect place. The accommodation is set in a beautiful location, close to gorgeous beaches and charming small towns. We had a rental car, which made getting around very easy and convenient. A special mention goes to our host, Antonia. Rarely have we encountered such a kind, attentive, and welcoming host. She truly went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you, Antonia! One small note: the area has quite a few animals, especially stray cats. However, they are completely harmless and won't bother you at all if you simply ignore them and avoid feeding them. If you want to experience the real Rhodes, this is absolutely the place to stay. The 5 Star rating is more than deserved.

The house is beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay—whether for cooking, relaxing, or keeping warm on chilly nights. The fireplace was a highlight for us after long days of hiking and climbing. Eirini gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, which was especially helpful since the road to the house is quite narrow. That said, we managed fine with an SUV (Dacia Duster). The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of hiking trails in the area. After a full day outside, it was great to return to such a cozy and inviting home. We were three adults staying for five nights on a hiking and climbing trip, and the place suited us perfectly. Highly recommended!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Mein Aufenthalt bei Orestis war einfach nur top! Die Villa war mit allem ausgestattet, was man (auch für einen längeren) Aufenthalt braucht und sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Auf dem Gelände gibt es noch wenige andere Villen, aber man hat trotzdem ausreichend Privatsphäre. Die Lage ist eher am Ortsrand und sehr ruhig. Ein Auto während des Aufenthalts ist ratsam, da der nächste Supermarkt etc. zwar nicht weit ist, aber auch nicht direkt ums Eck. Orestis hat immer sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und auch proaktiv Tipps etc. gegeben. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und außerhalb des Ortes. Der Blick über Pool und Meer ist einmalig und entspannend. Myrto gibt viele schöne und hilfreiche Tipps für die Gegend, Einkauf und Restaurants. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation hat toll funktioniert. Ganz lieben Dank dafür.

This place was a good choice for a long-term stay. Basic recreation is right nearby - just a few hundred meters away, there are hiking trails with beautiful views, surrounded by olive and orange groves. It’s also a great base for exploring western Crete in general. The house has everything you need if you enjoy cooking at home, but there are also some really nice restaurants nearby that serve tasty, home-style food. The host is super friendly and respectful of your privacy, which made the stay even more comfortable.

Dit huis is fantastisch! Mooi gebouw, fijne bedden, fijne keuken, prettig bij koud en bij warm weer, veel verschillende plekjes om buiten te zitten, veel te doen, veel mooie stranden, heerlijke bedden en op loopafstand van een fantastisch restaurant. Het ontvangst door Evangelina was heel warm, met heerlijk eten!! Wij waren met 2 gezinnen begin mei. Het huis was groot genoeg alleen 1 ouderslaapkamer is op de begane grond terwijl de rest van de kamers (voor kinderen) boven waren. Met grote kinderen helemaal prima, met kleine kinderen even puzzelen. Her zwembad is begin mei nog wat fris, de zee is heerlijk! Wij hadden helaas wat beschadigingen gemaakt. Dit werd goed opgelost met de host. De host komt wel onverwacht langs.

the villa was absolutely stunning in all aspects, the owner was highly helpful and took care of every request we had although he was injured. we enjoyed our holidays in Zakhintos due to the comfort of Dionysis villa. we highly recommend!

This was my fourth stay at this wonderful flat in Thermi/Thessaloniki, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The apartment is always immaculately clean, and it's clear that the owner goes the extra mile to keep everything in perfect condition — it truly feels like a brand-new space every time I arrive. The decoration is tasteful and modern, with a great attention to detail that creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite features is the balcony — it’s spacious, peaceful, and the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or relax in the evening. The flat is quiet, comfortable, and very well-equipped, with everything you might need during your stay. Communication with the host is always smooth, professional, and friendly. I’ve returned four times for a reason — it’s simply one of the best places to stay in the area. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’ll definitely be back again!

Über die Wohnung kann ich nichts sagen, weil es einen Schaden gab und ich nicht dort wohnen konnte. Athanasia hat mich stattdessen in einem Hotel untergebracht und das war ganz großartig. Sehr gute Lage und sehr gut eingerichtet. Athanasia war sehr kooperativ und ich kann sie als Gastgeberin nur empfehlen.

Notre séjour s’est super bien passé ! Le logement était très propre, confortable, calme, bien équipé et conforme à la description. Il est idéalement situé, à proximité de tout, ce qui est très pratique. L’hôte Emmanuel et sa charmante petite famille sont vraiment adorables, accueillants et toujours à l’écoute. Dès qu’on avait une question ou un petit souci, il répondait immédiatement et arrivait en moins de 5 minutes. On s’y est senti comme chez nous. Et que dire de la vue… encore plus incroyable que ce qu’on imaginait, un vrai petit coin de paradis ! Un grand merci à Emmanuel et sa famille, on reviendra avec plaisir. Je recommande à 100 % !

We used Konstantinos’ place for the final preparations before our wedding and for our first night as a married couple – and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean, just as described, and beautifully decorated. It offered the calm, stylish atmosphere we needed during such a special time. Konstantinos was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. The space felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed – I was genuinely excited the moment I walked in. We’re so glad we chose this place to be part of such meaningful memories, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and well-managed stay.

Un super logement, avec une très belle vue, assez retiré pour ne pas être dans l'agitation touristique tout en étant proche des commerces. Idéal pour se reposer après des visites effrénées. La piscine: très agreable. Une situation géographique idéale pour sillonner l'Ouest de la Crête. Appartements en décalés, donc on ne se gêne pas. Seul petit bémol, la douche qui mériterait vraiment d'être améliorée. En résumé, nous avons passé une magnifique semaine chez Franck qui est un super hôte, nous vous le recommandons.

Mieszkanie Angelosa to prawdziwa perełka w Salonikach. Znajduje się kilka kroków od wszystkich atrakcji. W pobliżu mnóstwo sklepów, kawiarni i restauracji. Samo mieszkanie urządzone jest na najwyższym poziomie, z dbałością o każdy detal. Kuchnia posiada wszystkie udogodnienia, chociaż my jedliśmy tylko w mieście. Balkon z dużym stołem i miejscem do relaksu. Absolutne 10/10!

Ακόμη καλύτερος από τις προσδοκίες μας τόσο ο χώρος όσο και η τοποθεσία! Ο Γιώργος επίσης υπέροχος, φιλόξενος και βοηθητικός! Μαγική διαμονή σε ένα παραδεισένιο τοπίο στη φύση! Συστήνεται φουλ φουλ! 🙂 Και σίγουρα θα ξανά προτιμηθεί!

Εξαιρετικό το σπίτι και η κατάσταση του! Πολύ καθαρό ! Η Ειρήνη απαντούσε πάντα πάρα πολύ γρήγορα όσες φορές χρειαστήκαμε κάτι ! Παρά πολλά πράγματα να κάνεις! Σίγουρα θα το προτιμήσω ξανά !

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem kleinen Tiny Häuschen mitten im Olivenhain – total idyllisch und perfekt für unseren großen Hund, der dort richtig aufblühen konnte. Viel Platz, viele Schattenplätze, und auch wir haben es uns auf den Liegen und in den schönen Sitzecken richtig gut gehen lassen. Birgid ist super herzlich, immer erreichbar und hat tolle Tipps für die Umgebung – ob Kultur oder gutes Essen. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa Traditional Guesthouse e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Fin da subito Γιάννης e Μαρία sono stati molto disponibili, fornendoci indicazioni chiare per arrivare direttamente alla struttura (consiglio di seguire le loro istruzioni su Google Maps). La comunicazione è stata rapida e cordiale. La casa è veramente molto accogliente e abbiamo apprezzato l'attenzione e la cura dei dettagli. Consigliamo sicuramente questo alloggio a chiunque voglia vivere un soggiorno rilassante e molto piacevole!

Το σπιτι βρισκεται σε μια πολυ καλη περιοχη οπου ειναι ησυχα και γαληνια. Το σπιτι ηταν πανεμορφο και πεντακαθαρο, δεν εχουμε λογια! Μεσα στο σπιτι εχει οτι χρειαζεστε!! Ο κ. Θωμας μας εδωσε πληροφοριες για το σπιτι, ευγενεστατος και ηταν εκει σε οτι κι αν χρειαζομασταν!! Ανυπομονουμε να ξανα ερθουμε!!

5 αστέρια με την αξία του το ξυλόσπιτο, ήταν πεντακάθαρο και μοσχοβολούσε. ήταν υπέροχο και ένδειξη φιλοξενίας που είχαν ανάψει το air conditioner λόγω ζέστης για να μας υποδεχτούν. Είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο δώμα μέχρι και για ψηστήρι αν θελήσει καποι@ αλλά έχει και φυλλάδια να παραγγείλεις. Επίσης είχε φαρμακείο και πολλών ειδών αντικουνουπικα. Τέλος πολύ θετικό ότι μπορούσες να κλείσεις και μόνο ένα βράδυ.
