Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Greece

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

A true gem with a beautiful view. If you're looking to escape the stress of everyday life, this is the perfect place. The accommodation is set in a beautiful location, close to gorgeous beaches and charming small towns. We had a rental car, which made getting around very easy and convenient. A special mention goes to our host, Antonia. Rarely have we encountered such a kind, attentive, and welcoming host. She truly went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you, Antonia! One small note: the area has quite a few animals, especially stray cats. However, they are completely harmless and won't bother you at all if you simply ignore them and avoid feeding them. If you want to experience the real Rhodes, this is absolutely the place to stay. The 5 Star rating is more than deserved.

The house is beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay—whether for cooking, relaxing, or keeping warm on chilly nights. The fireplace was a highlight for us after long days of hiking and climbing. Eirini gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, which was especially helpful since the road to the house is quite narrow. That said, we managed fine with an SUV (Dacia Duster). The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of hiking trails in the area. After a full day outside, it was great to return to such a cozy and inviting home. We were three adults staying for five nights on a hiking and climbing trip, and the place suited us perfectly. Highly recommended!

It was a magical vacation. Very clean and bright house, great pool with mountain view. A complete feeling of harmony with nature. The house is perfectly designed, with very good thermal isolation. The best option - come by car. The house is located at some distance from the beach. The nearest beach is one of the best on the island. It is very long and therefore gives a great choice of umbrellas/loungers with a wide range of prices. Special thanks to the owner of the house. Orestis is a true professional. He is always on call. Very friendly and solves problems instantly.

The house is very quiet and outside the village. The view over the pool and sea is unique and relaxing. Myrto gives many nice and helpful tips for the area, shopping and restaurants. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Communication worked great. We sincerely appreciate it.

This place was a good choice for a long-term stay. Basic recreation is right nearby - just a few hundred meters away, there are hiking trails with beautiful views, surrounded by olive and orange groves. It’s also a great base for exploring western Crete in general. The house has everything you need if you enjoy cooking at home, but there are also some really nice restaurants nearby that serve tasty, home-style food. The host is super friendly and respectful of your privacy, which made the stay even more comfortable.

This place is a gem. It offers a lot of inside and outside space. Patio is great to enjoy meals and just hang out or read books. It is conveniently located close to popular beaches. The house is in a small village providing quiet and private time, yet there are a few very popular restaurants in the area. The house felt like a home. Nantia and Kostas are great hosts, they are very easy to communicate with and have some great suggestions for day trips. We would definitely recommend staying.

the villa was absolutely stunning in all aspects, the owner was highly helpful and took care of every request we had although he was injured. we enjoyed our holidays in Zakhintos due to the comfort of Dionysis villa. we highly recommend!

This was my fourth stay at this wonderful flat in Thermi/Thessaloniki, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The apartment is always immaculately clean, and it's clear that the owner goes the extra mile to keep everything in perfect condition — it truly feels like a brand-new space every time I arrive. The decoration is tasteful and modern, with a great attention to detail that creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite features is the balcony — it’s spacious, peaceful, and the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or relax in the evening. The flat is quiet, comfortable, and very well-equipped, with everything you might need during your stay. Communication with the host is always smooth, professional, and friendly. I’ve returned four times for a reason — it’s simply one of the best places to stay in the area. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’ll definitely be back again!

Great place. Easy to find, basically in the corner just before the road leading up to the monasteries. Free parking close by. The room itself was squeaky clean and of good standard. Friendly and helpful host. Restaurants in walking distance. Quiet inner yard. Definitely recommended.

Our stay went great! The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped and as described. It's in a great location, close to everything, which is very convenient. The host Emmanuel and his charming little family are really adorable, welcoming and always attentive. As soon as we had a question or a small problem, he responded immediately and arrived in less than 5 minutes. It felt like home. And what to say about the view… even more incredible than we imagined, a real little slice of heaven! A big thank you to Emmanuel and his family, we'll be happy to come back. I recommend it 100%!

We used Konstantinos’ place for the final preparations before our wedding and for our first night as a married couple – and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean, just as described, and beautifully decorated. It offered the calm, stylish atmosphere we needed during such a special time. Konstantinos was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. The space felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed – I was genuinely excited the moment I walked in. We’re so glad we chose this place to be part of such meaningful memories, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and well-managed stay.

A great place, with a beautiful view, secluded enough not to be in the tourist hustle and bustle while being close to shops. Ideal for relaxation after unrestrained visits. The pool: very nice. An ideal geographical location to criss-cross the west of Crete. Offbeat apartments, so we don't mind. Only small downside, the shower that really deserves to be improved. In summary, we had a wonderful week at Franck's place who is a great host, we recommend it.

Great place with a very responsive host. There is a nearby parking option where you can leave your car overnight for €20. You’ll receive a card that allows you to enter and exit at your convenience. Just keep in mind that the parking area is quite narrow.

Even better than we expected both the place and the location! George is also wonderful, hospitable and helpful! Magical stay in a heavenly landscape in nature! A full house is recommended! 🙂 And it will definitely be preferred again!

We had a wonderful time in the little tiny cottage in the middle of the olive grove – totally idyllic and perfect for our big dog, who could really flourish there. Lots of space, lots of shade, and we also had a really good time on the loungers and in the beautiful seating areas. Birgid is super warm, always available and has great tips for the area – whether culture or good food. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed in this Traditional Guesthouse and we had a really great time! From the outset Γιάννης and Μαρία were very helpful, providing us with clear directions to get directly to the property (I recommend following their directions on Google Maps). Communication was quick and friendly. The house is really very welcoming and we appreciated the attention and care to detail. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a relaxing and very pleasant stay!

The house is located in a very good area where it is quiet and peaceful. The house was beautiful and spotless, we have no words! Inside the house has everything you need!! 5 stars with the value of the cabin, it was sparkling clean and fragrant. It was wonderful and a sign of hospitality that they had turned on the air conditioner because of the heat to welcome us. It's a fully equipped penthouse, even for a grill if you want, but it also has brochures to order. It also had a pharmacy and many kinds of mosquito repellents. Finally, it's very positive that you could book just one night.
