Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Greater Bendigo City

We absolutely loved our stay at Antoniette’s beautiful home. It is a spacious and clean space that easily and very comfortably accommodated our group of 9 for the weekend. The kitchen is very well resourced, with anything you could possibly need to cook for a group. It was a very cold weekend and Antoniette kindly provided plenty of firewood for the fireplace. There is alternative heating as well and we were warm the entire time. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious and clean, and Antoniette’s communication made checkin and checkout smooth and simple. We can’t wait to stay again.

We loved our stay at Julie and Greg's place in Bendigo. Ideally situated, this spacious home offers 3 generous bedrooms, which suited our family's weekend escape well. The kitchen has plenty of supplies and Julie was very responsive with any queries. Looking forward to getting back again soon.

We had a pleasant stay at Quiet Country Retreat, located right at the foot of Mount Alexander. The accommodation is great for a couple and has a separate living room and fully equiped kitchen. The verandah is a great place to relax with abundant bird sounds. Castlemaine is just a short drive away and has lots of food options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and unique property. The quietness of the surroundings made for a relaxing getaway, and staying in the converted bus was a novel and comfortable experience. The place was warm and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a full range of kitchen utensils. The pool table and table tennis provided great entertainment. A small note for future guests – as the area is very tranquil, it is best to be mindful of noise to respect the neighbours. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay.

We loved our stay at Madeleine’s place, we were able to take some photos in the stunning back yard before heading off to our wedding. Great space to entertain, quiet, comfortable and in a great location. Highly recommend!

Big, big thanks to Demi. The house was fabulous, with everything you could need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. It is sparklingly clean, with a well equipped kitchen, cosy comfy beds and super effective heating for the very chilly nights. And we really appreciated Demi’s warm inclusion of our pooches. Without hesitation we would book again.

This was the first Airbnb holiday that my wife, son and I had been on as well as our first holiday in 5 years (long time overdue) and this place felt like a home away from home. The bedrooms were roomy, the beds were comfy and the presentation of the towels and toilet paper had hotel like touches. Bonus was the books located around the house for some relaxing reading time. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, prepare meals for our outings and cook dinner. The living area was cosy with the chase couch and large throw rug. The gas fireplace heater was the perfect winter touch and had me falling asleep on the couch. My son loved his room and fell asleep better up here than back at home. He also got good exercise too running up and down the stairs :D Nit picky items... A) The 1 or 2 ply toilet paper was rough on the butt! Needs to be better quality. B) The oven mitts should be easier to locate. Wife burnt her hand in the oven before we found the mitts.

Great space. Fantastic location walkable to all the shops. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Warm and comfortable on a cold, wet winter’s weekend. Video instructions sent via email on how to enter the property made it easy. Highly recommend this listing.

Ellen was the perfect host super lovely with great communication. Ellen’s place was also fantastic we loved the location right on town easy walking everywhere. Her apartment was super cosy comfortable and clean we loved it!! Thanks for having us we will be back

Lovely apartment in a great central location. The heritage building it's self was interesting because if its age and views. The way they have done it up is really cool. The kitchen had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A sweet and comfortable cottage with lovely views. We appreciated the breakfast offerings and the delicious chocolate brownie, yum! A great place to explore the region from, or to simply come and relax in. Thank you Cally and Steve
