Vacation rentals in Grassington

Heather cottage is a gorgeous little place, exceeds expectations from the pictures! We had a 5 night stay for our 4th wedding anniversary. Amanda had left us a lovely welcome gift which was really sweet. The cottage is nicely decorated with nods to the Brontes' and the log burning fire was stacked ready to light, which we did on night 2! Many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk including artisan/gift shops to indulge yourself, which we did! At the the weekend there was the Haworth Haddock steam train event, with fish&chips served on board, a drinks carriage and live music at Keighley Station which we enjoyed! Theres plenty to see or do in the surrounding area of Bronte villiage. We'll definitely be going back to Heather Cottage! Thanks again Amanda.

I genuinely can't say enough positive things about Jonny's place. Location is perfect for exploring Skipton, Grassington and surrounding areas. The barn was immaculate and everything felt brand new, beds comfy, very private surroundings. We were there as a family as it was my parents 55th wedding anniversary - so 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs - and we had plenty of room. Also plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. The hot tub is brand new too which was amazing - you have a lovely view when sat in it and not overlooked by anything or anyone. Jonny was really friendly and super responsive. Would definitely recommend and would most certainly stay again!

Victoria’s house is an absolute dream. It is in a very convenient location, wonderfully furnished and, for those cold May evenings, deliciously warm. We were there for four nights while walking the Dales Way and it makes a great base. The facilities are excellent and Victoria is a very generous host, she even left us eggs from the local farm. Everything works extremely well, the bedding is luxurious and the showers hot and refreshing. We mostly ate in but went for drinks at the Red Lion down the road and had dinner there one night, which was very good. It was lovely to wake up and see the Dales all around and hear the wonderful bird song.

Situated in a perfect spot for beautiful walking from the village, Smiths cottage is warm and cosy, a generous size for two, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. There is ample parking and a pretty garden and patio with wonderful views of Wharfedale. You can stroll to two pubs- we had a delicious traditional steak and ale pie at the Craven Arms. There is a useful friendly basic supplies shop at the nearby campsite, which also has a little cafe and ice cream spot. We walked to Burnsall and Hebden along the River Wharfe on our first day- glorious scenery and bird song all around. The climb up behind the Craven Arms over the hills to Troller’s Gill and through the valley to Skyreholme was well worth the effort for the vistas and for a visit to the fabulous Parcevall Hall Gardens, with its Love Brownies tea room for refreshment before the walk back along the River Wharfe via Howgills to the cottage. Lovely, cosy studio. Well maintained and spotlessly clean. Good kitchen facilities for a studio apartment. Easy to find and park. Situatted in a very peaceful area. Good food in Grassington at The Black Horse and The Devonshire, just a 20 min walk away. Lots of great walks in stunning countryside. Rebecca is a very helpful and friendly host. Thanks for a great weekend.

We enjoyed a perfect stay at the house. This is our third visit to Grassington and this was by far our favourite stay. The location could not have been better, overlooking the Main Street with all amenities including cafes, bars and shops only a very short stroll away. The house had everything we needed, spotlessly clean, super comfy beds and pillows and lovely bathrooms and showers. The house also had 2 parking spaces which is very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

What a beautiful location and truly special place to say. From beginning to end, Tanya made us feel incredibly welcome. Even to the point of homemade carrot cake outside the from door when we arrived back from a long walk! We loved playing with their gorgeous dogs (who are super well trained and will leave you well alone if you're not a dog-lover). The place was immaculate, and the photos don't actually do it justice. Lots of cute and unique features and high quality finish. Right next to a gorgeous stream. I walked from there over the Pennine Way to Halton, a thoroughly enjoyable 9-mile jaunt. While leaving my partner to the 3 Peaks Challenge. And the super cute Ns characterful pub up the road was on the cherry on a very enjoyable cake. I'll definitely be coming again!

I can’t speak highly enough of Hayloft - a fantastic peaceful property in a beautiful location. Cosy, tastefully decorated and well equipped - first class from top to bottom. Great walks from the door and lots to see and do if venturing out in the car. Fiona was the perfect host and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We will return!
