Cosy studio annex

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden with access from the rear. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

David and Yan were so friendly and welcoming and so helpful. The room was spacious with a big window. The bed was super comfy. The shower was hot. I enjoyed sitting in their amazing garden and listening to the birds. Yan will make you special coffee drinks with her professional espresso machine. Restaurants, shopping and transportation are a 10-20 min walk.

Louise and Trevor are lovely hosts. You have your own room with a fantastic private bathroom at the back of the house, so it is very quiet. You’re free to do your own thing, but they’re also very available to answer questions, advise on restaurants or places to go, etc. I’d highly recommend!

An immaculate house and private room and shower/toilet room. Recently done to a very high standard. It was in a useful location for us halfway from the city to the bay. Rupert was very helpful, allowing us to put our touring bikes in his unused front room. We had a great stay - many thanks!

I stayed at Helen's place for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. The room is beautifully designed and Helen was very friendly and responsive. It can be a little tricky to find parking nearby, but otherwise the room is perfect for any individual or couple visiting Cardiff for a short period.
