Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Grand Manan Island

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

Robert was great! Very helpful with suggestions on trails, what to see, restaurants. Communication was top notch. He responds very quickly with clear and concise friendly messaging. Would definitely recommend this place. Easy access to the house, a short path to the water, excellent restaurants nearby and close to a great grocery store. There’s also an excellent chocolate shop near by, Monica’s is worth a visit.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Brianne’s place in Chamcook. This was our second time visiting & we were so excited to be back. The home had everything we could need and our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were travelling with our children and appreciated all of the board games, toys & baby gear at the house. Highlight of the weekend was how much sea glass we found during walks on the beach! Definitely recommend!

Natalie and April's cabin on the lake is absolutely amazing! Extremely quiet and so peacefully relaxing! Very clean and organized with just about everything you could imagine needing available to you! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful ladies again next time we are visiting!

Our family of 6 had a great time at the house. The view out over the water is gorgeous! Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, lovely surroundings. Kitchen had what we needed to cook dinners and breakfasts. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Shackford Cottage. It was cute and rustic but perfectly comfortable for me and my 3 sons. The location was even better than I imagined, with breathtaking views and a great walking path directly into town. The beds were comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We’d definitely book another stay here!

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

Amazing place! Very new, uncluttered space with comfortable seating inside and out. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, white sheets and towels like in a hotel. Kitchen fully stocked with everything, full size fridge and stove. We will definitely book again. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in St Andrews.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we still love it; Rebecca is wonderful at communicating and she goes out of her way to help whenever she can; the place was spotless and beautiful; we expecially loved walking the Van Horne trail and you meet the nicest people on that trail! So peaceful and about an hour to St Andrews with a leisurely pace; thank you Rebecca for sharing your beautiful home once again

Our family had a wonderful time at Jackie’s place! The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to downtown and spots like Kingsbrae Garden. Our pups felt right at home and loved exploring the area. The kitchen was fantastic, the bed super comfortable with high-quality linens, and we really appreciated the historic charm of the space. What a wonderful, serene stay. Close to everything you would need including groceries and restaurants, plus a perfect view of the water and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to stay longer next time.

The place was amazing. Charlie, had like five different types of coffee makers which was truly appreciated. It really shows the thoughtfulness of his guest.

The location is in a beautiful area. We'd purposely shortened our stay due to being early for whale watching in Eastport. As a result, we set out to explore other parts of Maine. We, however, recommend staying at Joanne's as it's lovely, cosy, and affordable – it has a private deck and gorgeous views along with most of what you need at an Airbnb to make your stay a relaxing one.
