Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Grand Manan

Robert was great! Very helpful with suggestions on trails, what to see, restaurants. Communication was top notch. He responds very quickly with clear and concise friendly messaging. Would definitely recommend this place. Easy access to the house, a short path to the water, excellent restaurants nearby and close to a great grocery store. There’s also an excellent chocolate shop near by, Monica’s is worth a visit.

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

The house is in a great location - you can walk to restaurants, beaches, hiking trails and gift shops! There is tons to do. We felt right at home and it was very clean. We had everything we needed and more for our stay.

Great kitchen for cooking, lots of nice dishes, pots and pans. Very well stocked with all the basics you might need. Loved all the art. Excellent base for exploring down east and Canada.

We had a very enjoyable time staying at Katie's lovely home. She was very responsive and helped me out with my sensitivities to perfume/fragrances. That is very important to me for a comfortable stay away from home. The location, amenities, and host were just perfect. We hope to return on our next visit to Eastport.

Dana’s place was a wonderful stay for my sister and mother and I. It was exactly as described and so charming. The view of the bay was stunning and an easy, short walk. The decks to sit on and enjoy the scenery were great. The bedrooms were nice with great views and the beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. When we return to Lubec we would gladly stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 6 had a great time at the house. The view out over the water is gorgeous! Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, lovely surroundings. Kitchen had what we needed to cook dinners and breakfasts. Would definitely recommend!

I had a really great stopover in Lubec here at Quoddy Station. The space was comfortable and the surroundings beautiful.

Kate and Caleb as hosts were super responsive to questions, excellent communication from start to finish and they were a great resource for local recommendations which made our stay even more enjoyable. The unit was even better in person than the incredible listing pictures. It was impeccably clean and very comfortable, with all the items needed. Great experience all the way around.

Came for one night on a road trip, wish we could’ve stayed another because it was so relaxing! Pet friendly and close to the lighthouse, definitely would choose this place again.

What a wonderful, serene stay. Close to everything you would need including groceries and restaurants, plus a perfect view of the water and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to stay longer next time.

Thomas and Barbara's place was exactly as pictured and described. It is a wonderful, bright, airy space with incredible views of the marina and the bay. A great base for exploring the area and very comfortable accommodations for relaxing and soaking in the ambiance. Booking, checking in and checking out all went very smoothly. We'll be back!

The place was amazing. Charlie, had like five different types of coffee makers which was truly appreciated. It really shows the thoughtfulness of his guest.

Are you up for a vacation where you come home feeling like you really went somewhere different? Do you want to see what we mean when we say "Maine, the way life should be" Do you want to experience life in a beautiful coastal village, soak up the salt air, try some local food, talk to some friendly souls, sit and marvel at the tide change? Skip Portland and Freeport, skip Bar Harbor, keep going (you can make it!) and get yourself to Lubec. You will sleep so soundly at Kurt's place, the beds are new and comfortable and it sure is quiet at night. Every corner of the place is full of character and yet somehow it feels so clean and inviting and uncluttered. Cook yourself full meals in the kitchen and eat on the deck (with water view!) or head next door to the brewery, the cafe or just one block away for some pizza. Plenty of nearby nature trails. A little town full of history, perched on the edge of the Bold Coast. You will be glad you made the trip. Kurt, we will be back!

The location is in a beautiful area. We'd purposely shortened our stay due to being early for whale watching in Eastport. As a result, we set out to explore other parts of Maine. We, however, recommend staying at Joanne's as it's lovely, cosy, and affordable – it has a private deck and gorgeous views along with most of what you need at an Airbnb to make your stay a relaxing one.
