Miles Glen | Old world luxury

We had a great stay at Matthew's place. I am a Queenstown local, but required alternative accomodation while renovations were happening at home. Matthew's was perfect from location to ammenities and everything in between. If I had questions or issues, Matthew responded in a timely manner and was always super helpful. All up a pleasurable few days.

The lodge's welcoming sign is prominently displayed against a backdrop of weathered wooden panels and a metal roof. Lush green ferns frame the foreground, adding a touch of nature to the rustic charm of the building.

It was such a cute little cottage! Felt very homey, and had good amenities. Loved our short stay here :)
A spacious lounge area features large floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Macquarie Harbour. A modern spiral staircase leads to an upper level. Light wood flooring complements the contemporary furniture arrangement, including a comfortable couch and a glass coffee table.

WHEELHOUSE APARTMENTS 1 STRAHAN

GeoffRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Nothing to add really to all the other rave reviews. Spectacular uninterrupted views across Macquarie Harbour. Floor to ceiling windows on both levels. Huge space, light, airy, clean, quiet. Aircon very effective for us staying in June. Only two minor gripes. Nice view from the spa but insufficient hot water to fill it more than half way up so just a big bathtub really. No blinds at all so very early morning wake-up unless you bring a sleep mask. But those views are worth it.
A corner jetted bathtub is surrounded by wooden paneling, offering a relaxing retreat. The bath area features chrome fixtures on a neutral wall, with a shower curtain providing privacy. Personal care items are neatly arranged on a small caddy nearby.
