Chalet vacation rentals in Gore Mountain

Great place to stay all in all. Christopher could work on a few things to make the stay easier for guests but this is a great spot and we loved the quiet and the privacy.

Awesome place. Just what I was looking for. Fall foliage and several hikes and drives in the area were beautiful. A couple of great local restaurants and a coffee house with pastries. Matthew and Michael were very responsive to my many questions. They were great to work with. Prefect place for my week get away. Satellite TV was a plus to watch NFL and baseball playoffs. Very relaxing and cozy with a private location close to restaurants and local grocery store. Stocked with everything you need. I would definitely recommend this wonderful Adirondack Chalet and hope to return.

Mark’s place was a charming cabin in the woods, well removed from main roadways. The space felt like a careful curation from a person who enjoys collecting things from his travels. It was open and spacious with options for everyone in our group. Once all of our belongings made it into the cabin, we were able to disperse into the rooms and tuck things away in corners so that it was easy to move through the space. We loved the cabin and can’t wait to stay with Mark again! -Megan

This cabin in the woods is a wonderful base for exploration of the Adirondacks. If you love the outdoors, I highly recommend this airbnb as there is plenty of wild to explore within an hour drive in all directions. The house is cozy with everything you would need to live there. Myself and 9 of my friends fit in this house and we had a wonderful weekend in the adks.

Great place! Came with friends and kids, lots of space for everyone to hangout. Outside pavilion and gazebo were amazing. Will definitely be back!

The home was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable getaway. We especially loved the kayaking and canoeing activities right on the property—it was a highlight for everyone! The location was perfect—just a short drive to town and Lake George Village, making it easy to explore and enjoy local attractions. While some of the furniture felt a bit outdated, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A great stay for a relaxing and fun family vacation! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house, although we didn’t experience much of the lake because we were there for a ski trip to Gore and we got over a foot of snow. We did spend a lot of time in the house. It’s really great — comfortable, clean, modern, well-decorated and -designed, just a terrific vacation home. Location wise, it’s an easy 20-minute ride down a main highway to get to Gore, so no problem there. It’s two minutes to get to a Stewart’s and a couple of restaurants, delis, pubs, pizza. Not a huge selection of choices but enough for a long weekend. Lisa was an excellent host, available throughout our stay for little questions we had. We would love to stay again in the summer to see what it’s like when it’s not covered in snow. The lake is absolutely beautiful. 100% recommend. You’ll have a great time.

Marry is a saint she was extremely helpful with an issue I had booking. The place is absolutely brilliant, coming from a carpenter by trade. Definitely will not be the last time I stay at her beautiful home.

We love this place. We had such a great experience last year that we had to come back. The house has everything you need to have a good time. The living room is so big that you can have a large group and not feel on top of each other. There's a pool table, foosball table and a hot tub, What else do you need! I definitely would recommend this house. Thanks again Dave for an awesome time. We are looking forward to next year!!

We had a fantastic stay at this home in Johnsburg! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and we really appreciated how dog-friendly the space was—our two pups felt right at home. The hot tub and pool were a huge bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Adirondacks. Our child loved the fun game room stocked with toys, and the pool table provided entertainment for the adults, too. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for comfort and fun in a beautiful setting!

This home was beautiful, the photos do not do it justice, perfectly decorated! We had 3 families that compromised of 6 boys and there was PLENTY of space, each family took a floor and the boys were outside the whole time either fishing, catching crawfish, or in the paddle boat, they had a blast! Also, the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with all your needs and more! We had such an amazing time here and are looking forward to come back next year!

We had a great time at the Chalet, and all the extra touches were appreciated. Plenty of towels, available firewood, kcups for coffee and many other extra touches. We did a lot of cooking, and kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Great location. When not enjoying Lake Sacandaga, Saratoga and Lake George are also close by to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a mint, retro house with all modern conveniences. Everything was as it it was just built! Like time travel to my childhood.

We had a great stay at Indian Lake! It's a beautiful cottage in such a scenic, peaceful environment, and made for a wonderful weekend getaway. The house was equipped with just about everything we needed, including access to canoes and kayaks that we could use to traverse the lake. We enjoyed the screened-in outdoor porch as well for our meals, and the little deck overlooking the lake was a beautiful spot for reading and stargazing. Thank you, Rose and Bruce! Hopefully, we'll be back soon.
