Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Goonhavern

Absolutely loved our stay! The host was fantastic, the surroundings were stunning, and everything about the booking process was effortless. Had a truly wonderful time—already planning to return!

What an amazing find! Utterly private and feels very rural. Even though the lovely village of St Agnes and glorious beaches and towns are only a short distance away! Very cosy and eclectic home with some delicious treats and a bottle of fizz left by Kate and Simon. If you do stay, you HAVE TO use Sunny Spice, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Best South Indian food and yummy dosas I’ve had outside of London or Kerala! Thank you for making us so welcome and for the brilliant recommendations of places to go and local eateries.

We’ve just spent 4 days at the cottage, and couldn’t have had a more perfect trip. We visit Cornwall regularly but this is our new ‘favourite’ place to stay. Great location with some local amenities on the doorstep and the footpath about 400 m takes you right into Perrenporth. Sarah was fab and really responsive to any questions or recommendations on places to eat or visit. Everything was very clean and bed super comfortable!!

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

We had a fantastic week in this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished and very comfortable for a family of four. The hot tub was a hit and great to retreat to after a day out! We fell in love with Porthtowan, which has a fantastic beach, a well stocked village store, exceptional fish and chips and - along with a good cafe and coffee option - a bar overlooking the beach which was perfect for sitting in the sun in the early evening watching the surfers. Our dog enjoyed the beach and the coastal path and the children had lots of fun hiring body boards and having surf lessons at ‘Tris Surf’ which was such a friendly and welcoming place! On the days we tore ourselves away from Porthtowan, we found the rest of south Cornwall very accessible. We would highly recommend this house - Sarah is an exceptional host, providing excellent recommendations for local activities, cafes, restaurants, brewery and farm shop (along with a lovely welcome pack). We will definitely return!

Had a great stay here with my partner. The location was perfect for visiting the gardens of Heligan and walking through the Luxulyan valley. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing on the computer console.

What a wonderful find. We met at Tygwella for a family holiday, some of us coming from Australia and some from Manchester. The house was ideal. It was spacious so we could occupy different “wings” with our own bathrooms and come together for meals, chat and play. The house was very generously supplied with basic provisions, kitchen and laundry equipment. We wanted for nothing. Having two ovens was great for cooking adult and children’s meals. The location was so peaceful with great views and easy access to the coast path and beach.

We loved it. Plent of sitting space in the basement. Beautiful kit hen with plenty of gadgets. Bedrooms comfortable with added bonus of bath robes in double bedrooms. Ground floor pool table was popular with grandchildren.

We were so impressed with all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they responded to everything really quickly. The property (Strawberry Fields) was beautiful and furnished in an original and tasteful way. Everything was considered. We had all we needed. The hot tub was well used by us all. Even though we were surrounded by other properties it still felt completely private. The location was excellent being so close to the beach. We all had an amazing holiday (including the dog) and felt that we had a week of real luxury.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. Ps thank you for the welcome pack it was lovely. The Cox family.

I write on a personal note as well (to show how amazing the hosts were). The night after we arrived my parents’ dog, Mollie went missing. Kaye and Lindsey pulled out all the stops to help search for her. Sadly the day before we left, the dog was found but it wasn’t a good outcome. But they’d joined in the search intensely all week, organising local people to come help, a farmer to help with cutting back vegetation, searching at various hours of the day in an effort to find Mollie. They really were brilliant.

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

Extremely well equipped, welcoming, super clean, plenty of instructions and information about the house and area. Comfortable beds, tastefully decorated, super garden, plenty of parking, great hot tub, acres of storage, what wasn’t to like!

We had a wonderful stay at Porthilly Lodge! The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed help with the hot tub, going out of their way to assist us quickly and kindly. The nearby little beach was lovely for an evening stroll, and for those looking for a longer outing, the walk to the ferry and a day in Padstow is well worth it. We’d happily recommend staying here, and we’ve already talked about coming back!

A LOVELY place to stay, especially if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It was extremely private - some reviews said it wasn't as private as advertised, but this is absolutely not the case. There is another building on the property, but it isn't in use when the Airbnb is being rented. The entire outdoor space (including bar and hot tub) are solely yours to use. It was amazing. Also fantastic for our dogs. While it rained a lot, we still used the hot tub and let the dogs roam whenever possible. The space is also really nice. It's small, but we had no trouble making it work for two adults and two dogs. It really had everything we needed for our four days. The host is also fantastic. Samantha provided all the information we needed beforehand, but was also responsive when we had questions about the location (despite it being quite late when we arrived). As other reviews said, there is a farm nearby and the roosters do what they do...but I found the sounds comforting. We recommend!

Peaceful place with a superb hot tub. Highly recommended

The place of stay was quaint and relaxing. There are lots of things to do in the day and night, given you have a car to get to and from. There are no complaints, they even have an option of buying a fire starting kit, so you don’t have to worry about if you want to have a barbecue. The hosts were very friendly and were happy to help with anything needed. It was a fantastic couple of days.

Really beautiful and lovely place to stay. We booked it really last minute and it was just perfect for a couple of days with the kids. The place is well laid out and have everything you need. The beds were really comfy, shower is massive and really hot! The hot tub is a great addition and was even fun in the rain. We really loved it, thanks for a great few days.

Wow - the most beautiful cabin! The owners really have thought of everything, even a toy for our dog 🥰. The garden is enclosed which was perfect for our dog to run around. The hot tub was really hot on arrival, the bath and shower facilities are stunning. We will 100% be visiting again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kuro Cabin, Vix was super helpful and attentive and the cabin was magical. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, everything has a purpose and everything has been thought out, the land is beautiful and well looked after. Not a single negative thought comes to mind, we had a truly peaceful and wonderful stay.

My fiance & I and our lil 8 month old son had an absolute briliant stay at Bude 114. Communication was always quick and early check in was appreciated. The lodge was perfect for us. It was my fiance's birthday whilst we were there, so i dropped a message to Tina and she asked the lady who does the change over (Denise) to arrange decorations. The lodge was decorated with baloons and banners in the colours i had communicated. It was perfect in every way. The hot tub on the decking was superb and view amazing. The site was quiet when we went away (outside peak period). All the positive reviews are well deserved. Would definatelly book again if lodge wasnt being sold! Location 10 min drive from Newquay and excellent hub for travelling around Cornwall. Site had children's play area, bar & resturant, indoor pool and laundrette with local shops down road. Thanks for making it a great stay.
