Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Golden Square

My husband and I had a lovely 3 night stay at Kate’s house. The house was cozy and made us feel like we were away on a European holiday. The property is stunning and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

We had a great stay, on a cold rainy long weekend we were cosy and warm throughout the house. The kitchen had everything we needed, and wood was supplied for the fireplace. It was so great to stay in a truly dog friendly house, where dogs are allowed inside and had a fully enclosed backyard to explore. Close to some good restaurants in town, we could not fault anything about our stay!

We stayed over the long weekend Hubby and I felt right at home it was warm and toasty on arrival. We loved the cottage as it was cute and charming surrounded by beautiful Australian flora and fauna. The lake was in walking distance and the Main Street was only a couple minutes drive. Karen was a wonderful host easy to reach and talk too we definitely would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Thank you Giselle and Shane

We were visiting Maldon for a family reunion. We especially enjoyed our stay at Bowes cottage as my Bowe ancestors actually built the cottage in the 1850's and my father grew up there with his family. My grandmother owned the cottage until she passed away in 1966. Tess's parents bought the cottage and it has been in her family since. It holds fond memories for me as my family spent many holidays visiting my grandmother. It was so nice to see the renovations that Tess and Alan have made to the place. Especially the inside toilet and bathroom and electricity! It is a very peaceful and we enjoyed a wood fire experience. The garden fills with all sorts of birds and I think we heard a few possums scurrying along the roof. Also great for stargazing fanatics. Tess welcomed us at the cottage when we arrived. It was so nice to meet her and talk about my memories of the house. A wonderful few days for us. Being pet friendly we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed the spacious garden.

Ultra quiet location not far from central Daylesford. If you want to get away from the daily grind and go off the grid for a while - this is a great place to do it. Sunrise was something special from the view of the veranda.

We had a wonderful stay in Daylesford. Amber was a pleasure to communicate with - friendly, responsive, and helpful. The heating throughout the accommodation was excellent, making it incredibly cosy and comfortable for our chilly weekend getaway.

perfect little spot in Hepburn, Sharee was flexible and the place was so easy to check in to, even at 8pm in the dark (they left the lights on for us) bedrooms are get, multiple bathrooms and overall just a spacious environmental! One thing i will mention, coffee and tea is not provided at this house, so bring your own!

The airbnb was a great find - it is within a historical significant building that oozes of character. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable. It could have easily hosted 3 couples. The location was close to town so it was a great place to set base camp for visiting Bendigo. We would visit again!

We were so impressed as a family how awesome this placed would be, the kids played Pool, ping pong, took advantage of all the activities offered, it was so well thought out, being able to bring our 2 dogs was amazing, we walked them everyday and they loved exploring. We will become back for sure. Thank you.

Dennis and Bronwen's place is stunning. I am almost reluctant to give it the review that it deserves so that I can keep it secret. Very spacious, comfortable and a really thoughtful attention to detail, and a positive energy about the place. Proactive, friendly hosts are the icing on the cake. Very highly recommended.

We returned for another gorgeous mini break and love this extraordinary house and rural outlook with dog friendly spaces. Short drive to great local cafe ☕️ and pub and a bit further for wineries walking trails and country gifts John is a wonderful host.

Extremely comfortable apartment in a great location, just a short stroll to town and all the shops/pubs/cafes. We stayed during the Kings Birthday weekend which was cold and wet and absolutely loved the fire and how cosy it was! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

This was such a cool property in an isolated location but still very close to Hepburn springs. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay with a big group that had everything you need.

Such a beautiful place to spend a wintery weekend away! From the gorgeous architectural design, to all the lovely luxe touches throughout, along with being super dog friendly (our doggos loved the surprise treats!) - Roch Residence rates right up there as one of our favourite Airbnb stays to date. The location is also terrific, with everything you need within walking distance. I couldn’t recommend more highly!

Big, big thanks to Demi. The house was fabulous, with everything you could need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. It is sparklingly clean, with a well equipped kitchen, cosy comfy beds and super effective heating for the very chilly nights. And we really appreciated Demi’s warm inclusion of our pooches. Without hesitation we would book again.

The house was great for our 2 families with plenty of room around the big dining table and couch. Lots of bench space for cooking and plenty of strorage in the fridge and pantry. Very handy having 2 bathrooms and there is a good sized TV. We were grateful to use the high-chair and portacot, both very clean and in good condition. In winter you will definitely need to use the heaters and there is pretty much one in every room and 2 in the bathroom! I thought It might be loud being on the main road but because of the double-glazing the traffic noise wasn't intrusive. We could fit 2 cars in the driveway which is very convenient for packing and unpacking the car.

Nice quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance to local shops, cafes etc. & a fairly short drive into Bendigo town centre. Clean, cosy & comfortable with a nice hot shower.

It was good to have a nice quiet place to stay when in Bendigo for a 21st. Would like to have the house as an option to stay in again in the future when visiting family in Bendigo. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful historic cottage as shown in the photos. Perfect location, walking distance to Castlemaine attractions, cafes and restaurants together with being in a quiet street. Peter is a generous and responsive host. Highly recommend.

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

We loved staying at Helen’s place. I would stay there again in a moment! I would recommend this BNB to anyone who was looking to stay in Bendigo. We loved our stay in Bendigo - hardly had to use the car at all. We met wonderful people, and spent quite a bit of money. A great weekend. Thank you Helen for opening your stunning town house to us.
