House vacation rentals in Gmunden District

Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable!

We stayed at the property as a group of 6 and it was very spacious for us, the driveway has space for two cars. The accommodation is equipped as described, we lacked nothing. The location and surroundings are quiet and a good starting point for various excursions. The view from the terrace and rooms is really very nice. The communication with Thomas was very friendly, informative and straightforward.

Thank you very much! We were very happy there and would have preferred to extend the vacation. 😍 The house with all the amenities is just something special. However, I liked the location best. The lake view when you go for breakfast in the morning is breathtaking. Martina was very friendly and uncomplicated ☺️ We are therefore very happy to come back 😊

An absolute dream! Close enough to Hallstatt but without the tourist overcrowd. The backyard was perfect for the kids and the little toys to keep them occupied were a very nice touch. The home is beautifully kept and overlooks mountain ranges surrounding at every angle and turn. The kitchen was very well setup and a nice break from dinners out on this road trip. My kids won’t stop asking us to go back and the serene getaway feel has the adults all interested too!

The house offers everything you need for a great holiday. We were a group of 8 people and felt very comfortable. The pool is great for the sauna as well . There are table tennis darts and foosball in a leisure room perfect in bad weather. What more do you want. We would like to come back again and again. A perfect host and a top 👍🏻 place to stay!!

The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful, green, and shaded in the afternoon, which made both indoor and outdoor areas super comfortable even on warm days. The house is beautifully equipped: a fantastic kitchen, cozy common areas, a big outdoor hammock, comfy loungers on the lawn, and a huge cushioned daybed we absolutely loved. You can really tell that everything was done with great care and quality — all the little touches are there to make your stay feel easy and enjoyable. When we discovered the huge selection of board games, we honestly felt a bit sad we didn’t have more time to play them all! It’s the kind of place where you’d love to stay longer just to relax and unwind. We also went on a stunning hike to Schoberstein, just a 20-minute drive away — the views were truly breathtaking. One small tip for future guests: be sure to book restaurants and even breakfast spots well in advance, especially during high season. Highly recommend — it’s a real gem! 🌿

Very nice place above the lake with clean air. House was fully equiped, clean and in the winter the heating was sufficient to keep good temperature in the house.

The place is very clean and cozy. Very comfortable for a family. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything, the bathroom is big and spacious. A pleasant balcony to sit on even when it is raining. The location itself is amazing! Near a beautiful lake a small town and not relatively busy. Perfect area to explore and get to know the Salzkammergut area. We felt like we were visiting paradise, and would definitely want to come back.

Great place with a magnificent terrace and lake access

Andrea was a nice and gracious host. The house met our expectations exactly, super great. Andrea arranged a magnifying mirror especially for us. It is also great that you can get fresh rolls and pastries every morning in two minutes. The view of the mountains is simply fascinating. We will be back.

An absolutely pristine a peaceful setting. The house is stunning. The hosts were friendly and proactive. The town and surroundings are charming. Lots of wonderful outdoor activities.

My wife and I spent a few days in this pleasant place, we liked everything, both the house with plenty of space and the nature. Many thanks to the owners who helped us to get from the station to the house, even though the station is not far from the house. We will definitely come back.

Alexandra’s place is excellent and in a super quiet location. There is everything anybody would ever need for a holiday. Alexandra is also super helpful and is responding very fast. We can wholeheartedly recommend to stay at Alexandra’s place!

We were in Altmünster by boat for the Traunsee week. To the lake, to shopping, short distances. The cottage had everything you need.

We had the most wonderful time in the house in Unetrach. We went as a family of 5 and enjoyed every second of it. The house is really spacious and looks even better than in the photos. The interior is old school and that totally ads to the charm and makes the experience cozy and authentic. Highlights: Having the incredible lake within walking distance The cute town where you can buy everything you need, a bakery / Coffeshop, beach bar and hangouts. The location of the house could not be more perfect with views of the lake and incredible nature all around We totally loved cooking at home, all utensils were provided and having dinner and drinks on the absolutely stunning terrace and enjoy sunsets there. The host was incredibly helpful, and gave us lots of great restaurant tips. All the furniture, bedsheets and amenities in the house are of high quality and create a sense of ease and subtle luxury. This place will forever be our favourite house in the most beautiful place in Austria!

Nice and spacious cottage, clean, stunning mountain views, Anton's mom was on site in a neighboring house and very responsive, always ready to help us. There is no garden but a large wooden terrace, all a few minutes drive from Lake Bad Aussee and the city with all amenities.

Yagaweh, this is pure vacation and relaxation! A beautiful house in a beautiful place...secluded location, hikes from the front door, views of the lake, crazy sunsets and jealous three watching hikers ;) We had a great time and were lovingly looked after by the host all around. Thank you!

In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains.
