We felt very comfortable right away. The place was super nice and the view was breathtaking - mainly because of the seals we could watch 😍 thanks to the binoculars provided by Tony. We would come back anytime! Thx â˜ș

Loch Awe Camping Pod 4 with Mountain and Loch View

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great find! If you’re looking to escape and feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but still want glamping facilities - this is perfect! Very secluded but the bar restaurant near by was fantastic (we even got vegan pizzas on the Friday!), and there was a wee coffee shop that was well stocked and great coffee which was perfect in the morning. The fire pit is set up each night for you to sit by and the dog loved it!

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

Where The Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary!

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Me and my partner visited for 1 night after completing the nc500 and it was also my partner’s birthday. We absolutely loved this place, it had absolutely everything we could think of. Karen was brilliant with her instructions and the cabin was immaculate, everything was clean and smelt good. Hot tub was awesome and the views were fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to comeback again.

Lighthouse cottage - Toward , Nr Dunoon , Argyll

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Toward. The area is just outstanding, peaceful and dramatic. Spotted a dolphin or porpoise from the sunroom. The cottage is really cute, had everything we needed and outstanding views. The bed is comfortable; this is one of the most relaxing holidays we have had and will be back sometime. Cathy was really helpful with great communication. Highly recommended place.

Beautiful home on the banks of Loch Goil

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family had an amazing week here! We travelled with my parents and young child as well as a dog. The view over the loch is sensational and the Airbnb has everything we needed. John is a very kind and responsive host - couldn’t do enough for us. It’s remote and private with a pub nearby and another pizza restaurant open Thursday to Sunday nights. We were also very lucky with the weather which meant the most sensational views. Good base for exploring too as we were able to go to Inverary, Carrick Castle, Arkinglas House, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and rent a boat on loch goil.

The Gardener’s Cottage with wood fired Hot Tub

SaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. â˜ș The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!

Gourock Home

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

We had the most wonderful stay at Dorothy's cottage. We felt right at home. The cottage is so lovely and cosy with beautiful views. We've never stayed in such a clean and well appointed accommodation. We felt like we were the first people to stay there. It was lovely coming back after a day's exploring and relaxing in the garden with a cup of tea looking at the views. The bed is very comfortable with luxurious linen and lots of fluffy towels. Every essential imaginable is supplied. Dorothy really cares about her guests. The kitchen is very well supplied with a variety of crockery and cooking utensils making our stay very comfortable. The freshly made ice cubes were greatly appreciated, as were the treats. Thank you Dorothy for welcoming us. It was a real pleasure meeting you 😊 x

The Bothy is a super space, it has everything you need in a simple layout, with space to relax inside and beautiful surroundings outside. If you want peace and quiet and somewhere to clear your head it is perfect. The access to loch, wood and hill walks is on your doorstep and if you want to take on the challenge on some Munros they are easily accessible too, which worked really well for me. I had a great stay - it could not have been better.
