Steve and Barb were considerate and knowledgeable hosts, friendly, and with plenty of local recommendations. The place is clean and comfortable, wasn't stuffy at all. It is a bit removed from the town center, which made for a very peaceful sleep and great conditions for stargazing. Coffee, tea, bananas, danishes, and cereal available for breakfast. The common areas are shared, but I never felt unwelcome. Great for those looking for a stay with local flavor!

The cabin was great! Super cute and quiet location. The roads getting to the cabin are narrow and curvy, but once you do it a couple of times it’s no problem! I would recommend for those that are looking for a remote get away that’s only 30 minutes from Estes Park.

As always, we love our anniversary get away. We look forward months in advance to visit this little retreat. we love disconnecting from our phones and TV. We enjoy sitting in the parlor for reading, puzzles, art, chess, record playing, etc. It is a unique one of a kind experience. We adore the Lilly Langtry room with the cute little porch area. The food is great. The live music for the memorial holiday was fun with the amazing BBQ brisket and pulled pork. It was not a bad change from the usual fine dining option. Emma and Chris are always very accurate and make sure everything is all right. I appreciate their enthusiasm and hospitality. Very friendly people who do not shy awake from a good conversation if you like to visit for a minute. Otherwise, they give you your private space together. We will be back next year! Looking forward to out 5th visit!

We had the most incredible stay at this peaceful retreat in Allenspark. Tucked away on a quiet road, the cabin offered the perfect mix of seclusion and comfort. The amenities were top-notch, especially the jacuzzi, which was the perfect way to unwind under the stars after a day of exploring. One of the most memorable moments was spotting a moose on the drive home one evening, truly magical! The location was ideal, with just a short and scenic drive to Estes Park for restaurants, shops, and access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Susan, the host, was super responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature!
