Vacation rentals with lake access in Glen Arbor Township

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

Loved the place, nice and tucked away in the trees, despite the snowfall walkways and driveway were easily traversable and shoveled/plowed prior to arrival, as well as being provided with a shovel and sled wich i appreciated as well as our three year old. Had lots of fun in the snow and getting cozy and warm in the living room, enjoyed coffee in the mornings around the kitchen table enjoying the views out the slider door. Truly a great experience especially while communicating with the host, my family took a business card and will most likely stay again in the future thank you again for having us.

One of the few places that feels worth the payout. I’ve been going to glen arbor on and off for 10 years. This was the first time being on the physical lake (little glen). Having the private access, and having kayaks to go was pretty cool. We created some great memories for my 11 year old son. It was a slice of paradise. I hope to come here again sometime in the future when it’s warmer.

We had a lovely, relaxing 5 days at this camp. It is simple but appears to be recently renovated. It’s not high end (the kitchen chairs are cheap plastic) but it’s clean, comfortable, and tasteful. It’s nestled on the lake with a gorgeous view. Sadly, the renovation did not include a dishwasher. Bayshore does a great job stocking the place - there are plenty of replacement supplies, including coffee. Two Bayshore annoyances: I requested a rubber spatula/flipper so the non stick pans didn’t get further damaged. Their response: I could purchase one myself. Also, you have to drag the trash can 200 yards up the driveway on Tuesday nights or “there may be an additional fee.” Still, I would stay there again.

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We were lucky enough to spend Memorial Day Weekend at Innisfree. We had 3 kids and 5 adults and all had plenty of space. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you needed even quality pots and pans. We loved the panoramic views from the living room and deck. Beach is large and peaceful, perfect for watching the sunset over sleeping bear dunes.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Alice's! The place is beautiful and even better then the photos suggest. She's very thoughtful and provided plenty of towels, linen and also card games and puzzles. We loved sitting outside on the porch with a cup of coffee. The location is very secluded but still close to everything by car. Traverse City and Sleeping Bear are both close and easy to drive too. We absolutely loved our time and would stay again. Thank you Alice ❤️

Not even sure where to begin! We booked this for my friends low-key bachelorette party and it was the most perfect place for us to relax and unplug! Shana was an amazing host, always communicating via the app in a very timely manner. The house was pristine and SO cute! It was clean and stocked with everything you could need (paddle board, kayaks, life jackets, wood, spare tooth brushes, ample towels, kitchen items, coffee were some of our favorites). The ONLY complaint - which is to no fault of the host - is that the mosquitos were thick at all hours of the day so be mindful of that :) have already reccomended this place to many friends and hoping I can back here soon too. 10/10 recommend!

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

As always the place is beautiful , clean and well managed. Ben is communicative and friendly as well as the staff that help out. If you’re looking for a place close to the beach with easy access to food, parks and the outdoors this is the place.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

This is the best stay for Traverse City. The location is the absolute best. Everything you want to do in the city is walkable. The parking spot was right across the street and if you wanted to rent additional spots it was very easy to do. Highly recommend!

We were in town for the Bayshore Half Marathon and initially expected a group of five, but it ended up being just two couples. The condo was perfect for our group! The parking was clearly marked, and we had the place to ourselves. It was easy to access, and we even tried out the elevator. At first, we weren’t sure which building was ours since there are several nearby, but once we got our bearings, everything was smooth. The location truly can’t be beat — we were able to walk to almost everything! The views are absolutely stunning. I only wish we had better weather so we could have spent more time outside enjoying them. The condo itself was clean and comfortable, with just the right amount of space for the four of us. Having two bathrooms, a cozy living area, and separated sleeping spaces made our stay really comfortable. We’d love the chance to stay here again in the future!

This place was amazing! Right by the action but still felt private. It has everything you need for a great stay. The hosts were responsive kind and flexible with us. Couldn’t have been better!!!

We are so happy that we stayed at TC Rock Shop! The place iself is so cute—very cozy!—and the location was minutes to downtown shops and restaurants, with the bay literally across the street! We spent a lot of time walking around the cute neighborhood, and enjoying the sunsets on the water. We went to an art fair and Sleder's Tavern (my parents' old fave in the 70s) right down the street! The apartment was the cleanest AirBNB I think we've ever been in, which was hugely appreciated. It was quiet at night, the bed was super comfy, and the towels smelled wonderful! We really appreciated the snacks, tea, and bottle of local Crisp wine (yummy!) they kindly left out for us. Although we didn't make use of them, we noticed a number of amenities that would be appreciated by other guests — umbrellas, cooler, beach gear, a pack and play, etc. We really loved this place and will hopefully stay here again on a future trip to TC!

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. It was just a described. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks and floating dock. We appreciated all the recommendations that were provided on the wall and in the books around the house. The kitchen had everything needed for us to eat most meals at the house and the grill was nice.

We loved Blaine’s place for our girls trip! The house was fully stocked and had everything we needed and more! The place was very clean and so were the linens and towels. We had a great visit!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was stunning! We wished for better weather to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boats, but that was nothing that could’ve been controlled. We did enjoy a fire in the pit. The lake view was beautiful. Jake was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you!

Perfect place for visiting the Traverse City area. I was there for the Interlochen Arts Academy graduation, and what a beautiful drive. Much better than staying in town. Very peaceful. Seriously considering coming back to vacation. Heidi is an excellent communicator and ultra-responsive.

We originally booked a different cottage in Ludington….only to find out we accidentally booked it for the wrong date. We cancelled that reservation and booked this location instead. Host responded immediately- huge relief to us since we were already on our way to the area. Directions to the house were spot on, which made it easy to find. Even though this was a last minute reservation, the house was ready for us. Yes, the furniture is dated but that was fine with us. There is so much to do in the area that we were gone most of the time. However, we did spend some time at the house to do some fishing out on the lake- they have a boat and canoe onsite that we were able to take out. Our last night there, we sat out by the fire pit and stargazed while we fished. It was perfect! Communication with host couldn’t have been any better. They checked in with us to make sure all was going well and responded right away when I accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. Would stay again.

It was a great weekend away! The cabin is so nice inside and out! I will definitley keep this place in mind if we ever do something like this again. Totally recommend:)

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

We had a great holiday weekend at the cabin for the Bayshore Marathon. It is very clean and has everything we needed and more. It had a seccluded woodsy feel in spite of being very near the main parts of town and walkable. Close to the beach, the start trail but private with a wooded back yard and creek running through the property. 3 mile is noisy and busy as is 31 but it didn’t bother us. We brought ear plugs just in case.
