Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. Yr Efail is a converted blacksmiths workshop.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

Small self contained SELF CATERING annex attached to owner's farmhouse with it's own private entrance and outside seating area on working family farm with cattle. Approx 4 miles from Betws y Coed and Llanrwst. Good base for outdoor activites in the area like Zip world, Bounce Below etc. with the coasts of Llandudno/Colwyn Bay approx 20 miles from farm. With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with secluded glades and viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland full of wildlife about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track.
