A charming 19th century house with a good atmosphere. The property is beautifully situated by the sea overlooking Ålesund and the Sunnmøre Alps. Only 15 mins with a car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there are cultivated fields with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a medieval marble church, beaches, untouched nature and birdlife. The island once housed Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Walking distance to the region's most beautiful beaches, water sports center and soccer field. Giske is a 15-minute drive from Ålesund city centre, which is known as Norway's most beautiful city. Furthermore, there is a short drive to Sunnmørsalpene, the world famous fjords that, among other things, go in to Geiranger. Here everything is located for both the relaxing holiday, the active holiday, and the cultural holiday.

Welcome to our house on Gudøya Island. You will have the ground floor with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a beautiful terrace with view to the sea and mountains. The living room has a kitchenette for cooking. Unfortunately, there is no sink there, but the sink and a dishwasher are in the laundry room. You can also use bicycles. Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Yet only 20 min. by car to Ålesund city center. My place is good for couples, single travelers, and business travelers. Can also fit a small family. (Extra mattresses).
