We felt right at home. The house is well equipped and offers everything you need. Our kids loved the rooms and there were plenty of toys to discover. The view is amazing, just beautiful, the view of the sea and the islands. Barbo responded immediately to messages. The closest supermarket is 3 minutes away, bus stop 400 meters. Ålesund is a 10-minute drive away. We would definitely come back anytime.

We had a great stay at Silje’s place. She and her husband were great hosts. Very considerate and friendly. The house itself is in a stunning location with everything you need to feel right at home.

We had a wonderful time in Ålesund. The house is great right in front of the ferry and with an incredibly beautiful view of the city and the mountains. Ideal for excursions!

We recently stayed 4 nights in this lovely penthouse apartment. Was everything we had hoped for and was as described. In a quiet historic art nouveau street just one street back from the quayside. A modern apartment in a lovely historic building with architectural features. We dined at the Tandoori Indian restaurant next door twice ($$$) and at the XL Diner ($$$$$) by the quayside and had a great experience at both. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs but they are very wide & sturdy and gave us no problem with luggage, Wifi (100Mbps) was great. Would love to stay there again. This is a fabulous place to stay when visiting Alesund. It is well furnished, has a great kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is nicely laid out and the shower is excellent. It’s close enough to town to walk everywhere, yet just enough outside of the tourist area that it’s quiet. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.

Had a very nice stay for one night. Walkable to town and to the city climb for views. Very well set up home. Would definitely stay again!!

Helge’s place is beautiful in a great location. Great communication and answered all our questions promptly. Perfect place to stay if you want to be near the center and rest at home.

Centrally located in the centre of Alesund. Well equipped with everything you may need during your stay there. There is also a parking garage nearby for parking which Matthias very kindly helped us find.

Great starting point for a night In Ålesund! Easy to walk around town! Beautiful space and the laundry was a plus!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our stay in Ålesund. The apartment had a great view of the water and the setting sun. It was conveniently located to many restaurants, downtown, and to the hike to Aksla. It was clean and quiet. We really appreciated being able to use the washer. Elisabeth was very prompt in communication. She even texted when the apartment was ready so we were able to check in a little early. We recommend Elisabeth’s apartment to anyone considering it.

This is a really lovely space, I very much enjoyed my time here. Wonderful location it’s central but peaceful and quiet with a nice view of the mountains. The apartment has everything you need and it was nice and clean, and the shower gets hot immediately and has great water pressure which I really loved! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very good stay here! The apartment had everything we needed – it was clean, central, and in a quiet area. It was also very convenient with parking in the basement and charging for the electric car. Extra plus for board games and short distance to the store! An unforeseen problem arose during the stay, which was beyond anyone's control, but the host handled the situation quickly and resolved it in a way that benefited everyone. Communication with the host was good throughout the stay. Definitely recommend this place further!

Great location Great view Quick response

We only spent one night at Pawel's apartment but enjoyed our stay. The apartment is rather small but still offers more than enough space for two people. It is located between Aksla and the city in a rather quiet neighborhood. You can enjoy nice views from the terrace and are still in the city center within 10 minutes by car. Communication with Pawel was always friendly and seamless.

Oda was very responsive to our questions and her place is really comfortable and big. Great location to walk to car rental, fjord cruise boat and Art Nouveau museum.

Exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to accomodate for our arrival and departure time and we got an extra bed set up which made the stay super comfortable for everyone. I recommend bringing earplugs to any city in Norway in May, as there is a lot of partying going on at night, and Ålesund is no exception :) (Or just join the fun..) Aksla is super close to the appartement, so is downtown. The appartement is modern and clean and is very comfortable. I highly recommend this appartement.
