This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Our apartment is located above a restaurant so it requires that you climb stairs and unfortunately it is not wheel chair accessible.

Drew was a great host! The property was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the secluded feeling, even though you share grounds with others, you never knew. Drew greeted us as we were unpacking the car, he was very friendly and made sure to let us know, if we needed anything to let him know. The property was remote but close to anything you would need. A perfect, peaceful hideaway! We are thinking about staying longer, should we make it back that way.

This place was incredible. We came in town to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Tech. It was everything that was pictured and more. Anyone coming to this part of Louisiana definitely needs to look into staying here. It was close to Ruston but still far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the rolling hills. Drinking coffee overlooking the lake was a perfect way to start the day. The place had everything you needed and then some. Thanks for a wonderful place to spend with family.

Great place for a quiet weekend getaway with the kids or with friends. We went out for mother's day weekend, 3 married couples. The home features plenty of seating area, a spacious and clean kitchen, a large game room with large sofa, a large indoor hot tub an out door fire pit, 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a projector screen you can hook up to and amazing views from the back porch and dock down on the lake. We loved the home and our stay there. Cody was quick to respond each time I messaged him and made things very simple. Very enjoyable stay!

This place is a little piece of paradise! From sun up, to sun down, the view will amaze you… even from the inside. At night, the sounds of nature and plush bedding ease you to sleep. The space is beautiful and intentionally designed to make you feel right at home. Anytime I had a question, it was answered quickly and in detail. My stay was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. I did not want to leave. Becky’s home is absolutely stunning, more stunning in person. The layout of the home is perfect, the beds are extremely comfortable, the pool, the lake, the sunrise, sunset, kayaks, beautiful sounds of nature, so much to do without having to leave… Becky is wonderful, she is quick to respond at any time, she is kind and ensured I felt right at home. I can’t wait to bring the kids next time!!!
