Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Georgetown Island

Stayed at Bethany's place for a long weekend at the end of the season. The location is unbeatable, the house is situated on its own little peninsula in a stunning cove; it feels very private and has amazing views of the water. There's tons of outdoor space and seating, along with several kayaks. The house itself is clean, quiet, and peaceful, although it's definitely small--probably best for one or two people, or a couple with a small child. Access is down an unpaved road but Bethany's very clear instructions made it easy to find, and she was responsive to any questions we had. Harpswell abounds with areas to hike and explore, lots of good places to eat (though you will definitely need a car) and is less than an hour from Portland and only half an hour from Freeport.

Everything was as described and more! With a wonderful location close to town, good privacy, and so much space inside with many commodities we wouldn’t even think of. Even our dog had a fun filled week with us. We hope to visit again, it’s just the perfect home away from home. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Lovely location on the water. Some white traffic noise but worth it watching the boats and wildlife! Comfy bed. We slept very well. Well-stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for lots of little day trips. Our only disappointment was the size of the smallest room. It’s very tiny. Great for a child but pretty tight for our adult son. Host was attentive. We will be back!

The Harding Farmhouse was one of our all-time favorite Airbnb stays. We felt like we were in the home of lovely and welcoming hosts, as we found another fascinating bit of history in every nook and around every corner. Our intergenerational family fit easily into this sprawling home and we found the kitchen perfect for preparing a feast. The beds and bathrooms were all modern and comfortable and the yard was peaceful. Judith was very responsive and generous in helping us with our needs. Highly recommended.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

My family and I spent a gorgeous Thanksgiving holiday at this home. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, and the house was beautiful, spotless, well-maintained, and felt very homey. We also appreciated the clear instructions for using all the household amenities and systems. Wonderful views from the living room, and such a stunning drive into the area where this home is located. We plan on booking again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the little cottage on the Kennebec. The location is perfect for visiting Bath attractions such as Maine’s First Ship, the Maritime Museum, Bohemian Rose, and Markings Gallery. The screened-in porch with the view of the river was perfect for relaxing after full days of viewing and visiting. The view of the river from our comfy bed was a wonderful way to start another day. We hope to return!!

This apartment was so clean, well decorated, well stocked and very comfortable. The location is perfect. So close to downtown Wiscasset, Boothbay and Freeport. This was our 2nd stay and we will return. Kathleen is a great host!

We had a great time here, beautiful place, well-equipped. Very clean and comfortable, I loved the plants both inside and out. Hot water came up quickly, didn't run out, and the shower was strong. Used the kitchen for breakfasts and some dinners - had a tea kettle, coffee pot, and pans/knives/cutting boards - all the comforts of home. Central location, and the loaner State Park pass was great! One day we visited Portland and Two Lights State Park to the south, another we went to Georgetown and Reid State Park to the north. Walking distance to restaurants in pretty downtown Bath, and the neighborhood was quiet. There's a thorough guest book with recommendations and ideas of things to do, and Erika was quick to respond when I asked for a good place to buy oysters/seafood. Pretty yard, even in Oct some plants blooming. I enjoyed sitting on the deck to read in the sunshine. We hope to come back here to stay, very happy with the experience - comfortable and homey.

Wendy’s place was really nice and the hot tub is very private.. we definitely got our usage out of it… Wendy herself was extremely kind and open minded. She didn’t rush us out come check out, instead, she encouraged us to stay a little longer and enjoy the hot tub before our long journey back home.. she gave us good tips about golden gems only locals know about 🥰 She did have a cool book to share reviews but I didn’t have a pen.. also we left grape soda in the fridge from Canada for the next person to try!! The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

We had a great stay here. The apartment was perfectly clean and well appointed. Bob and Laura covered everything; thoughtful snacks, a comprehensive guest book, fully stocked kitchen and they even made umbrellas available. We were super comfortable and it was a great spot to base our Bristol adventures from!

Wonderful little spot very close to the beach. Plenty of places to walk to from the location as well as a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Great location (definitely check out Pedro’s across the street). The place was clean and well stocked with necessities. Beds were comfortable, pillows were good, curtains would have been nice due to the early sunrises.

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and cozy. The walk to the family friendly beach was just the right distance for my 4yo. The neighborhood is adorable and friendly! With an amazing bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner! Dave was a great host and took great care of us.
