“Melissa and Brian have a great place in a nice remote area. We really enjoyed our stay despite some poor weather over our weekend. The accommodations were quaint, clean, and didn't lack in any way. There was a vintage record player which was a lot of fun to enjoy while we were inside. You can see quite a bit of wildlife from inside the rooms ranging from some ponies and cows to kangaroos, foxes, cockatoos, and others. There are wonderful gardens on the main property that are a joy to explore. We really had a great time. There are some good restaurants both in Gembrook and the adjacent towns, and plenty of other attractions within a 30-45 minute drive. We visited Healesville Animal Sanctuary and had a great time there as well. Brian and Melissa were very accommodating hosts and wonderful to talk to as well. It was raining when we arrived and Brian met us with an umbrella in hand to help us stay dry on our way in. They had plenty of recommendations of things to do in the area and on the property. All in all we had a really good time. If we are ever looking to stay in the area in the future we would definitely stay again.”
Your own private Retreat in a unique setting. The property is located on 16 acres of natural bush and towering gum trees. “Lovely place for a night away in the hills. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our time in this beautifully appointed bungalow. The blackout blinds were great for sleeping in. Cooking facilities are limited to a kettle, toaster and microwave, but there were plenty of options within a reasonable drive to eat or get take away food. Loved the port and chocolates.”
