House vacation rentals in Gelos

It was 2 wonderful weeks with Rose Marie and her husband. We had a great holiday. They both know a lot about the area and what to do. The view from the balcony was beautiful, surroundings are beautiful, there is a lot to see! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing New Year’s Eve at Marc’s place. The house is cozy, charming, and exactly as pictured, making it a perfect spot for such a special occasion. What truly stood out was the incredible preparation—Marc provided a detailed guide on where to find everything in the house, including the kitchen, as well as fascinating details about the home’s history. The guide also included great recommendations for nearby shops, restaurants, and destinations to visit—we especially loved exploring Lourdes. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a small house featuring a billiard table and projector, plus a variety of board games. Marc was an excellent host, always helpful and responsive, even providing a video walkthrough to make everything clear. A small note for winter visitors: the kitchen has a brick floor and can be cooler, so bring slippers, and the second-floor bedroom is passable to access the bathroom. Overall, Marc’s thoughtfulness made this one of our best Airbnb stays!

Stéphane is on top. Flexible hosting, total trust. The photos do not sufficiently reflect the cottage, the reality is much better. Impressive spaces. Original and typical decoration. A very nice summer kitchen. Some work is still in progress and will make this place truly exceptional. We had a bachelor party in an idyllic setting, a view of the Pyrenees, a petanque court, a large green space and a plancha calling the guests to a festive and friendly aperitif ....... Rented for a bachelorette party. The place is exceptional and totally suitable for any event! The decor is great and the environment is amazing. Everyone loved it and even with 12 of us there was still room. A huge plus was the superb meal made by Elisa. Thanks again, if another event comes up I won't hesitate for a second to come back! 🙏

We stayed here as a stopover on our way back from Spain, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly relaxing — exactly what we needed after a long drive. We brought our two dogs with us, and they settled in straight away. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place that made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay again!

For a relaxing weekend with friends, it was PERFECT. Clean chalet, the hot tub, the view and the 3 mascots of the chalet. A big thank you to your mom for hosting us so well and for explaining how the chalet works.

We had a perfect stay at Michel's The place was spotless, impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen is very nice and ideal for preparing good dishes with the delicious products of the Pyrenees. The wood stove adds a warm and cozy touch, perfect for evenings. Michel is an exemplary host: kind, helpful, very accommodating and flexible with our arrival time. He really cares that his guests have a great stay. We would recommend it in a second!

Stéphanie and Eric's house is magnificent, very comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and almost everywhere you look reflects a past that inspires respect and appreciation. We really enjoyed both the house and its beautiful garden, and there were also a couple of paths nearby to walk the dogs. Stéphanie was very kind in explaining how everything worked, and made us feel right at home. We hope to have the opportunity to return soon.

This is a lovely place to stay - matches the photos, great base for exploring the Vallee d'Ossau and area. Christophe was an extremely helpful and responsive host, and helped with local guides/suggestions. Just a couple of things to note: the hot tub is great, but can take up to 24 hours to heat up, so if you want to use it on your first evening (as we did) good to request that before you arrive. Also, the gite's bedroom is by a mill stream - the noise is present but fairly constant, however on the first few nights I needed ear plugs to drown it out. Otherwise the garden - pond - hammock - hot tub is utterly delightful and I highly recommend for a place to unwind and a base to explore from.

Very nice house, tastefully renovated, in a quiet and pleasant setting (near Lake Gabas). The bedding was very good quality, a great breakfast was provided, and everything you need to cook, have a coffee... Very pleasant welcome from Pascal!

Fabien and Franciska welcomed us very warmly! With careful attention... a welcome basket was waiting for us with local products and a new little surprise delicately placed on our pillows. This is the first time we've been spoiled with an Airbnb reservation and we were touched by this quality of hospitality and their generosity. In addition to their human qualities, their accommodation is just incredible, the house is very spacious, very clean, very practical, everything is well thought out, the beds are comfortable. It feels like home and the decor is very cozy. Fabien is passionate about mountains and will be happy to offer you plenty of tours according to your desires. There is also a guide in the house of all the things to see or do in the area. The village shops are a few hundred meters' walk away and you can really find everything and local! Very good address 🙂

A very comfortable house in a very quiet village. Parking at the door. It's ideal to have it as a base to get to know that area of the Pyrenees. I'd come back without hesitation.

We had a really nice stay in Patrick's place. It is convenient for Pau (where my daughter is studying), but great for us travelling with the dogs. Nice scenery and walks and a great walled garden! Also only half an hour from Lourdes, we will be back!
