Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gavião

It was a wonderful weekend. Even the neighborhood was very welcoming. Thanks to Mr. Manuel for the wine and sausage tasting. Firewood ready for heating the house, large spaces such as the living room that was great for meals as well as for playing with the children or conversations with adults. Super creative decor that makes us feel at home. Flexibility in check-in and check-out added more unforgettable moments in the house. We want to go back.

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

The location is spectacular. Great for those who just want to relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry sky at night. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Francisco, who was always available for whatever was needed.

Jose's place was amazing! He and his team had great communication, we're very responsive and helpful. Place is well organized and has everything you need, just a great place to relax and the surrounding area is beautiful

Everything is impeccable! Excellent house for 2 couples with children. The only point that is possibly less positive (which for us did not cause any problem) is that the house is located in a very quiet village, without a great offer of services (such as a mini-market, for example). Nevertheless, we are 10-15 minutes from Tomar and Ferreira do Zêzere. We are also at this distance from "n" river beaches. In summary: for us, everything 5 stars, from the house to the host

Amazing experience. Not only is the house beautiful, comfortable and charming, but it is extremely well equipped and the land is fantastic. Pedro's messages ahead of our arrival made finding the place easy and seamless. Always quick to comeback with an answer to questions we had and overall very thoughtful. Definitely a place to return to!

Peaceful and quiet place. Very clean inside and out. Everything as described. Edite was very friendly and always available to help. The property feels very private even though it's close to owners house.

We had a great experience during our stay. A very quiet space (we only had the company of goats and sheep☺️), our dog walked freely and we followed Daniel's suggestion to go to the beautiful stream near the house. I must mention that Daniel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. In short, I highly recommend it for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A place to return to ☺️

It was an amazing stay. João's space breathes tranquility. Located a few meters from the water, fun is always guaranteed if you are a fan of water sports. This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. The house is wonderful, beautiful and impressive. It is also located in a beautiful enclave. Everything is perfectly equipped and clean. Joana was super friendly and was always in touch. She answered us quickly at all times when we needed it. The area allows you to enjoy great routes and waterfalls, as well as disconnect and enjoy nature. We definitely didn't have enough time and it's an experience to be repeated. Being able to go with our little dog is a great plus. Totally recommendable.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Beautiful Mongolian yurt in a serene setting immersed in nature. The space is well equipped for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the nearby river and the hike leading to it. John and his wife are friendly and gave us tips about the area as well as some knowledge to start off grid living.

A lovely house in a super quiet place. Days of relaxation and fun in the pool. You'll find a better house than in the photos, super cozy and fully equipped. Mrs. Maria and her husband were super attentive. I highly recommend the space.

This villa is beautiful. it's so tastefully renovated with a perfect blend of charm, original features and modern amenities. I was on a motorcycle tour with two friends and we wanted somewhere nice to recharge after a few long hard days riding. This villa had everything, pool, outdoor kitchen and seating area, lovely cool country charm inside and very quiet and private. It is very secure and private and is definitely the best Air BnB I have ever sta5at over several countries. the host is perfect, there if needed but not obtrusive. 10/10 is not enough...
