Beachfront vacation rentals in Gavião

I was in Portugal for 18 days and this was my favorite place! I wish I could have stayed much longer!!!

The apartment has stunning views of Nazare, it’s ideally situated for the amazing views & a 10 minute walk to the beach where there are lots of great restaurants. Carlos communicated promptly and provided suggestions of restaurants in Nazare prior to our arrival. The apartment was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our 5 day stay. Apartment 2 steps from the waterfront, bars, restaurants, not far from the funicular that drops you off on the heights of the north beach (surf). Ideally located rental. Of course we recommend this 2-level accommodation, 👍🏼

Just an incredible stay in a beautiful area. The apartment made is so easy to relax - whether you want to stay on the terrace and enjoy the sun and the views, or take a short walk into town and enjoy the offerings there. This is probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in an Airbnb. There are two small stores just three blocks away for the basics (including wine, of course) and large grocery stores a 20 minute walk - or 5 minute drive away - for all other needs. Prompt, courteous and easy-to-follow communication from the owners. Will definitely return.

If you want to be near the fort this is the place for you. The views are amazing. This maybe one of the best places to watch the sunset. Everything is close and is walking distance. Shower had perfect pressure.

This spacious home is within walking distance of the Nazare waves (visited in January), offering views from both the beach and the lighthouse. It's conveniently located for day trips to Lisbon and charming nearby towns. The home is in a quiet area, features scenic views, and includes most essentials for cooking. Note that the beds are quite firm, so consider bringing a sleeping pad if you prefer softer support. The host was friendly and provided helpful information about the area and the property.

The house what very clean and had all the amenities needed to make it a top vacation. Upon arrival there was an information brochure ready with things we could do in the area which was very helpful. Within walking distance of the sea and in a non touristy area it was ideal to de-connect. Also the communication with the host was very smooth and he was always available for questions.

It was a very nice stay! The view from the terrace is totally impressive, especially the sunsets. All the necessary things are available in the house, we lacked nothing. There are about 100 steps to go down to the sea, but you have a huge beach, which could actually be described as almost empty. Thanks to Mymy

This place was epic — absolutely blew us away. Perched on the cliff in Sítio above Nazaré, it’s steps from the funicular, North Beach, and that legendary surf break. The view? Unreal. Ocean, cliffs, crashing waves — you’ll feel like Poseidon on vacation. The house was super comfortable, stylish, and had everything we needed. Coffee on the balcony watching the waves... we could’ve stayed forever. If you want dramatic views and a chill, no-regrets stay — book this place. Just do it.

Our stay at Amazing View definitely met our expectations. It is modern and well supplied. We loved the view of the beach and the light house. The location is excellent for walking to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Be prepared to find a side street without restricted parking to park your car. The third party property manager who we contacted to manage issues in the apartment was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this home.

We had an amazing stay! The place was incredibly clean, well stocked with everything you’d need, and had gorgeous views! The place was a short walk to the beach, although there is quite a hill for those with less mobility. Overall, such a lovely spot, would definitely come again!

Awesome place! Excellent location very walkable. Host was very helpful and gave us lots of good information. Only complaint is the shower is kind of hard to close while you are in it but definitely manageable Thank you for the amazing stay!

Very nice place, a fisherman's house. Everything you need is on site, the location is great in the center and yet in the privacy. I recommend. The host is super communicative!

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩

André was truly a Superhost. The room was perfect and in the best location. Unfortunately, during our stay the neighborhood had a huge power outage. André did everything possible to find us an alternate accommodation that was also beautiful and nearby. He communicated very well and if I go back to Nazare, I would absolutely rent there again.
