Monthly Rentals in Gavaudun

Herve was a great host from booking to during our stay. He was informative, helpful, and super friendly. His house is beautiful, in a great location within the centre of Montflanquin. Just a minutes walk uphill to the square where some amazing restaurants are. The house had everything you needed. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, condiments, washing up facilities. Brilliant open dining/living area upstairs. Stairs are very steep, but we knew this beforehand. downstairs (ground level) is really spacious, plenty of hangers,wardrobe space. bathroom has a large area to store toiletries. would highly recommend Herve and his place. Set in a delightful elevated position this comfortable property is set in a large well managed garden giving good long views out across a densely wooded landscape. Claudie the owner is discreet but very welcoming and obviously enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the property, its extensive colourful garden, the surrounding countryside and its wildlife. We were also given a fascinating insight into Gavaudun's industrial past, much of which is now lost to view. A great location for enthusiastic walkers and proficient cyclists.

Excellent stay in this green setting. Here no noise, rest, visits to the many surrounding sites (castles, caves, bastides, markets...) And not to mention swimming in the large pool, it was perfect! Thank you to our hosts for their hospitality and kindness.
