Vacation rentals in Gässemåla

We would definitely visit this place again. This is our fifth time booking one of Andreas’ places, and it's always perfectly lovely.

Sofie and Matthias are very likeable, lovely hosts. We were very warmly welcomed by the two and felt very welcome from the first moment until the end of our stay. They are always mindful of the privacy of the guests and are always very helpful when it matters. Hosts as you wish for! The raft is functionally furnished and offers extras such as a mini fridge, coffee maker and a few games. The surroundings and the integrated sauna overlooking the lake are additional highlights on the raft. Simply wonderful. The bathroom in the main house, about 20m from the raft, which has its own access for guests, is a gem, and is available to guests only during the stay. We'd love to come back and can gladly recommend the accommodation and the hosts. We wish them both all the best! Michèle & Roger

I had three boys aged 16-21 at the end of May. The place was like a dream. We arrived at night, and the lake lay there, large, mighty and mysterious in the dark. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed four days fully with SUP boards, boat, swimming, sauna, walks around the lake, campfire and relaxation. Really cool to have it all to yourself. - The eldest son had to have the annex/cabin to himself! We dream of coming back in the middle of winter and ice fishing🎣, winter swimming 🥶 and then sauna🥵!!

We stayed at Gunilla's house for 3 nights. It's cozy, peaceful and exactly like described and visualized on photos. There is a boat that you can use at Asnen lake (we used it for fishing), bicycles for rides and even sauna. We spent there great time. Keep in mind that you need to have your own bed sheets, which might not be so obvious.

Fantastic stay at Inge’s cabin. It was very peaceful and private and the cabin was clean and very well equip. We spent a few evenings in the gardens, cooking bbq’s and playing lawn games and had so much fun! The cabin wasn’t far from some beautiful walks and only 10 minutes from the town Ryd which had a good sized supermarket. Just to note, the towels and bed linen are not included in your stay so you bring your own :) luckily, as we travelled from abroad, inge was very kind and understanding and sorted us out with some linen for an additional charge. Would certainly come back!

very nice people who make every effort to make your stay as beautiful as possible. Bernd was present on arrival and departure, a very nice and charismatic man who speaks fluent English. he gave us a very nice and extensive tour of their beautiful terrain and through the house in which he also involved the children in a very nice way. The house is wonderfully quiet and there is all wildlife to see in the woods all around. In the evening you can hear all kinds of birds singing. If we would like to go to the same area again, we will definitely see if this house is available again, it offers everything you need for a nice holiday. we did not meet Helle now, answers to any questions we had in advance were given by her quickly and clearly. we stayed in the house for 4 nights and then booked another house in another region of Sweden but would definitely like to stay longer afterwards. bernd was also there when leaving. 100% Sweden! We had 4 great nights in Maria's guest house. (which is actually much larger than it looks in the photos) It started with the personal key handover after which you felt directly welcome and very comfortable. As already mentioned, the cottage is exactly as you imagined a typical, red, rustic wooden cottage and also in a very nice rural environment with cuddly cats :-). The cottage is right in the garden next to Maria's beautiful house and yet you feel total privacy. Small details like fresh flowers on the table or Moomin books gave the whole a certain something. A highlight for us was heating the wood-burning stove and the private sauna where we spent a lot of time. :-) When we ran out of wood and asked Maria where we could get new wood, Maria immediately took care of it and new wood was already lying in front of the door. We highly recommend Maria and her husband as hosts!

My and my best friend's first glamping experience and we find it hard to believe that anything could surpass this. So many thoughtful touches and surprises, freshly picked flowers, crisp sheets and fluffy duvets. Late in the evening, we saw a fox darting past in the field. We are already looking forward to coming back, and showing more people this magical place!
