Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Garden City

The holiday house was the perfect spot for my family over Father’s Day weekend. We had a large group of adults, kids and infants and the home was more than equipped for everything we needed for our stay. The house was stocked with plenty of activities and games for everyone as well as walking distance to Rucas for breakfast, Bear Trapper for dinner and The Chocolate Bear for dessert. The rooms were all clean and well insulated from noise which is necessary when having a large group of mixed ages. Thanks for the great accommodations for our Bear Lake trip!

Our family had a great stay here. The house is gorgeous, clean, well kept, so fun for the kids and the whole family. Close to the marina where we rented a boat, 15-20 min from North beach where we used the paddle boards. Plenty to keeps us all busy and entertained. The private hot tub was so nice to have and had a great view of the swimming pool so we could also keep an eye on our older kids at the pool. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great location with everything you could need! Supremely stocked kitchen. Beautiful space that is massive & holds many people comfortably. Huge towel supply. Loved this house for our friend gathering. We had slight difficulty getting into the house & messaged Amber and she responded immediately & resolved the issue.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need — and even things you wouldn’t think of. My favorite part was the location — everything we needed was just a short walk away. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated having a washer and dryer to keep up with our wet and dirty clothes throughout the trip. The place stayed toasty warm, which made the provided fans a nice touch for keeping things just right. My kids had the best time playing pickleball, working on puzzles and card games, and hanging out in the cozy mini theatre lounge area. The basket full of towels was a lifesaver — we definitely made good use of those! We’d happily book this rental again for a future stay. Highly recommend checking out Moose Buns, Summit Pizza, Crepes and Coffee, Zipz, and Cafe Savor — all less than a 10-minute walk.

This home was the perfect place for our annual Bear Lake Trip. Housed all of us, but gave plenty of room for us to take a break from each other. Loves the space and the location.

Our family absolutely loved this place! Well stocked, clean, laundry room beach towels, plenty of bathrooms, open space and large bedrooms. Felt right at home. Jason was available if needed. We loved the games, BBQ, bikes, and hot tub (at the clubhouse) oh and grocery store next door!!! We will definitely want to stay here again. Bear Lake was absolutely beautiful and the weather (for end of August). This place will not disappoint!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ideal Beach location. The condo is ground level which makes coming and going really easy. We had 2 kids under the age of 2 so having the pool, beach, playground, and large lawn space were all nice amenities that we used. The place itself was clean and well maintained with several parts including the kitchen and bathroom that have been recently updated. Probably the only complaint is the beach at this resort was a bit rough and required walking through a rocky area to get into the water so definitely recommend water shoes if you have sensitive feet.

Favorite place I’ve stayed at and Bear Lake. Within five minutes of almost everything. Mykol was very responsive and respectful. The place was beautiful. I also enjoyed that it was away from the Moore hotel area and on the top floor. No noise heard.

We loved Josi’s place and had a great stay. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. The communal areas are great and the layout of the bedrooms also allows for a ton of privacy. Josi had a ton of helpful, clear information regarding the home and amenities. I saw a review that someone felt there was too much information or fees posted, and maybe Josi changed that, but I did not feel that way at all. I felt like all the posted info was there to warn me ahead of time so I didn’t accidentally incur a fee. Checkout was amazingly simple. There was no expectation of doing any laundry, etc. very basic and reasonable. The ideal beach pass is a great addition. You are just 5 minutes from a ton of public beach and about 10 from the Utah state park. We plan to book with Josi again!

Shakes and Sand was a beautiful place to stay during our short time in Garden city. It was so clean, and stocked for all the things you need without having to go shopping before you get there except for food if courses I loved how convenient it was to get everywhere. We really made use of the upstairs family room! It was comfy and fit my family of 4 especially when we watched a movie. This was way better than staying at a 5 star hotel!! Marion was a wonderful host and will get back to you quickly if you have any questions. If I could give 10 stars!!

Great place to stay, clean and close to things

We just love this place! It was neat, and with so much room to be a one bedroom apartment. Kitchen and bathroom were clean as perfect 😊. The location is just perfect, really close to all restaurants and places you would to visit during your stay at Garden City. We highly recommend this place for your vacations.

Great place. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, and just down the road from the Utah Marina. Owner was very responsive and the place was well kept and we had access to the garage. Would definitely stay here again. Also, boat parking was a definite bonus!

What an absolutely amazing stay! Ideal beach was incredible and has so many amenities. Leann was responsive, helpful, and kind. We felt right at home and enjoyed all the wonderful activities ideal beach had! The space was clean, comfortable, and had fantastic extras such as movies and games. Our kids had a magical time and we can't wait to return again!
