Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Fredensborg

We are 3 brothers who again returned to the lovely and quiet surroundings of North Zealand. The house is super cozy and there is everything you need to enjoy a holiday. So we won't take a trip again next year. In any case, it is recommended to book the house if you want to get up close to the beautiful nature and get all the way down at a pace. Best, Søren

My family and I stayed for four days at Camilla's place, and we enjoyed having the house completely for us, including having breakfast on the patio with view into the very nice garden or playing cards around the large kitchen table at nights. With a fully equipped kitchen, we had everything what we needed to provide for ourselves. It's a nice residential area with a supermarket not too far away to drive to in 10 minutes. There are some nice restaurants in Espergaerde, and Helsingor with its shops, restaurants and the Kronborg Castle is also easy to get to by car. Camilla is a very thoughtful and responsive host who gave us clear instructions and helpful recommendations when looking for a restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. I highly recommend Camilla's place for anyone who would like to explore this area.

We had a lovely time in the house over Christmas. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The house is a bit old but everything was clean and comfortable. The house is very spacious and warm, even in winter. It was the perfect base for us to visit family and friends. Would definitely rent again.

We had a fabulous stay at Jenny’s. The place was beautifully decorated and felt very peaceful. Our son loved being able to look out the window and see sheep and horses. Location was a great base for exploring the area. Easy check in. Faultless!

The cottage is a great setting for a family vacation with several generations. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as the large kitchen area, provide space for everyone. The outdoor space provides ample opportunity for the children to be active.

It was a pleasure staying at Jeanette's place - it's exactly as advertised. A cozy home away from home. Jeanette was easy to reach and very helpful. I would be happy to stay there again next time I'm in Denmark!

Our warmest recommendation. And we know what we're talking about, because we've stayed there in small 2 months. Wonderful hosts who are hugely thoughtful, helpful, and very flexible. The apartment is perfect, with everything you could imagine. Located quietly, with walking distance to the city center. A better place simply doesn't exist. Charming Villa in peaceful landscape, spotlessly clean apartament with all you need. The city of Landskrona is near, from where you can take the ferry to idyllic Ven island.

Perfect place to stay, clean, tidy, comfortable. Great communication and easy to get in and out. Bit expensive but worth it!

We used the home as a base for family visits and it was a good location in relation to several visits in the area. Everything was fine and a good bed. Delightful surprise with chocolate.

The apartment was excellent for our family of 6 with abundant room. The location was superb and allow easy access to the subway and to the main pedestrian avenue. The dryer was out of service but otherwise the apartment amenities were as described with clear instructions. Den went above and beyond with and an additional private boat tour as a service which I would highly recommend. We saw unique areas that the larger companies would not have highlighted. Overall it was a great apartment and host.

Again a great stay, took the bike for a ride this time, got a flat tire, which was quickly repaired by Mogens, who always has some interesting historic story to tell about the places that we visit to take video’s and photographs. For the newcomers here: this is the place to enjoy forest and beach walks with your dog(s), and enjoy the local hygge in the harbours of Hornbæk and Gilleleje. Hope to be back soon!

A very nice and bright apartment with a great roof terrace, not far from Frederiksborg Castle and with a variety of shopping and walking options. The train to Copenhagen is easily accessible in 7 minutes on foot, a lake is located directly opposite the house. Tina is a very friendly and helpful hostess and was always there for us, we had a 5***** de luxe stay and would be happy to come back.

Ane was very kind and helpful before, during, and after our stay. It was really a lovely spot in a quiet neighborhood that was a few minutes from downtown.

A fantastic nice stay in a very cozy and well-appointed apartment, where everything was exactly as described. Bus connection to Copenhagen was just outside the door. We are happy to come.

Very suitable for two people and a short stay. The mattress of the bed is good and not soft, we were able to sleep well, unfortunately it became very bright in the bedroom early, as the windows could not be completely darkened. We had our own bikes with us and were able to park them in the basement at night, convenient. There was also a workplace in the extra room, which we also needed, great.

A lovely basement apartment with everything you need for a great stay in Copenhagen.Beamed ceilings, comfortable bed , fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom with luxury toiletries supplied and a quiet garden space to the rear where you can meet the cats and rabbits.Beautifully decorated , it is such a cosy and welcoming place to come back to after a day in the city. Having visited the city a few times, this location is fantastic. Super easy access to the airport and most of the entire city via the metro which is very very close to the apartment. And the Christiania Island neighborhood is arguably the best in the city, with all the amazing restaurants, parks, landmarks, and easy bike access to the city. So the location is very hard to beat!! The apartment itself is really well furnished, with artwork, a comfortable couch, and some really beautiful plants. When laying low to recover from jet lag, we felt we were in a wonderfully curated space that was enjoyable to be in. Would definitely come back! Responsive hosts, easy checkin, perfect location, and great recommendations from the hosts as well - this is a great spot!

We can’t say enough about this wonderful apartment. The location and views were amazing. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The host provided many brochures, maps and a cute welcome sign. We appreciated so much that she had laundry soap available for us to wash our clothes. The host responded immediately to all questions. Definitely will stay here again.

Very happy we landed on Anders’ condo. Location was very central to everything, we never needed to have a car or even a bike. We were able to explore all of central Copenhagen on foot. Bars, restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc… The condo itself is very clean, high ceilings, spacious, comfortable bed, high end appliances, pretty art, overall a very nice aesthetic. Anders was super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. 10 out of 10.
