Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Franche-Comté

I recommend the place for people who want to isolate themselves :)

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

I spent three peaceful nights here and couldn’t have asked for more. The house is cozy and beautifully located with mountain views and a stunning terrace complete with a fireplace — perfect for unwinding. Janette was a warm and generous host, taking the time to show me around the property and the region, with helpful recommendations and maps. The house is easily accessible by car and ideal for both short and longer stays. note that it seemed like the nearby town doesn’t have much in terms of shops or restaurants, so having a car makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

Delphine is a lovely and very warm hostess. The cottage was very welcoming, nicely decorated with all the basic products available. The environment is beautiful. I really recommend it.

A beautiful house in a wonderful location… our kids had a lot of fun with the pool, the hot pot and especially with the soccer field. The large windows, the many terraces and the huge lounge are great for large families… A super nice vacation - definitely 5 out of 5 stars 👍

Cannot recommend Elliette’s place enough! A beautiful cottage in the Burgundy countryside surrounded by rolling hills of vines. Elliette, Guillaume and their beautiful children give a warm and generous welcome and we loved the wine tour and tasting as well. The cottage itself is beautifully renovated, clean and fresh but with nods to the original brickwork and beams. There is a spacious kitchen and bathroom and they also provided us with a travel cot for our baby. A really lovely stay, we will be back!

The accommodation is sublime, Gérard is very accommodating and full of good advice, the environment is sublime and peaceful. Our stay of a few days has been most relaxing and pleasant, we can only recommend.

An Airbnb property of impeccable quality, simply superb. A host who is extremely attentive to the needs of his guests. The accommodation is also very well insulated and for the most sensitive the ventilation is really efficient (yes we tested all the available equipment), so even in case of high heat no worries. You can also choose to melt for hours in the hot tub🫠. This cozy little nest is waiting for you 😉

Beautiful flat. Newly renovated. Right in the city centre. Very clean. Has TV with netflix. Comfy bed. It doesn’t have AC so can get a bit hot in summer but we were provided with two fans that helped a lot! Would definitely stay here again. The only thing we would have wishes for are proper duvets as we don’t love sleeping with just a sheet.

Incredible little weekend, the accommodation is remarkably clean! Nathalie is very nice, attentive and responsive! The hot tub is a real plus, we even had small bathrobes available. I highly recommend this place! We'll be back!

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

"Made with love" is the best way to describe Jean-Claude's and Marinette's beautiful place. The interior design and the view are gorgeous. Every time I thought I had forgotten something (scissors, travel adapter) I found it was already provided for. And there is even Ninja Cooker! Marinette made sure that I have everything I needed when I arrived and Jean-Claude messaged me straight away when he found I had forgotten some of my belongings, so I could return and collect them. During my stay I had all the privacy I needed and the internet was working perfectly. Thank you so much Jean-Claude and Marinette for your wonderful hospitality - I look forward to returning again!

A perfect gîte for a break from everyday life, to relax and wander with only cows and small calves as neighbors. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive when there were questions. All the amenities mentioned were available on site... and even small touches in addition that really made me happy when I arrived! Thank you very much Simon and Céline for this great stay!

Such an amazing location and host!! An absolute must if visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is clean and comfortable for our family of five (one infant). It has a separate entrance for guests and dedicated parking space. Kitchen is complete with all the appliances & utensils. Elisabeth was super nice and friendly. She brought our kids to see the animals and they love it. She provided some groceries n chocolate and she even baked bread for us. hopefully we have the opportunity to stay here again.

Christophe is very approachable, responds very quickly. Self check-in, which is perfect when you're on the go! Clean accommodation, terrace with exceptional views of the lake, quiet, direct access to the lake path and beaches via private stairs. Well located (restaurants, supermarket 3 min walk!)

The surroundings of Doris's apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, and Doris makes you feel at home, always ready to help you make your stay a great experience. Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at Caroline's, Ornans is a lovely little town and the location is excellent. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the whole place has a really inviting and cozy feeling.

We really enjoyed staying at this beautifully designed apartment. We especially liked that there is a lot of nature all around and the apartment is so harmoniously designed. There was everything we needed in terms of amenities. The garden with various corners where you can make yourself comfortable is also great.

Merlin was super helpful both with regards to the loft activities for the surrounding area and always happy to help out in case of extra needs. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back here.
