Beautiful apartment in a great location! Had everything we needed and more. New, clean, well stocked. Host was great! Will stay again!

Christopher was admirably communicative and forthright. I didn't put max marks for location only because it's a car dependent, suburban location. The drive to town is short, and the neighborhood is quiet. The space served us well, and we're very pleased.

This place is perfectly located close to downtown and also to the hospital. It had a lovely deck with wonderful sunset view, great place to enjoy the evening. The bed was comfy and the place was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Bobby was an excellent host, very responsive and great to work with. I will definitely stay at his place again.

The description/pictures totally matched what you got. What you don’t see visually from pictures but experience is a very clean apartment (in a beautiful neighborhood) along with little details such as noise makers, extra toiletries for emergencies (in case you forgot to bring like a toothbrush, etc) These little touches show that the host cares about you having a comfortable stay. We had a lovely stay at Dovies Nest. It was spacious, clean and inviting. Nice amenities. We loved having the fireplace as it was uncharacteristically cool during our stay. It was very close for great hiking nearby and Bedford is a quaint little town to visit.

If you ever get a chance to stay here in Lynchburg, please do! Beth and Terry’s place made us feel completely at home. It was immaculately clean, had all the comforts of home, and showed how much care through all the very well thought out details. It is very spacious, very well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom with anything you can think of, very nice amenities, detailed instructions and helpful tips on the surrounding restaurants. We were here for a very short time but it was an extremely pleasant experience!

This was our first visit to Lynchburg and we chose Courtney's because of its proximity to Liberty University (which was hosting the Conference USA Baseball Championship). This home is only a few short miles from campus in a quite neighborhood. We also discovered we were only a few miles from Downtown Lynchburg which was an awesome place to grab diner and drinks after a long day of college baseball (highly recommend Fratelli Italian Kitchen). The home is a little older with few updates but it worked out really well for my wife and I who are remote workers (we just need to plug in our computers) - we each had our own space and could easily do our work (although a few more outlets would have been nice). The driveway is long and narrow so we chose to park on the street in front of the house which was simple to do. We did have some upstairs neighbors for a bit, but other than some minor squeaky floors, it was not a bother. We would stay here again on another visit to Lynchburg

This is a beautiful home and wonderful location! We stayed for my sister’s graduation. We were welcomed with water bottles, snacks and a lovely home feel. Because of graduation, we didn’t get to hang out as long as we would have, but it was wonderful to see the playground outside the back porch in the distance, have wonderful food in walking distance and the beautiful art alley. Owners were receptive and very friendly. I would love to come back when I have more time to explore.

You can not ask for better accommodations! Room is super modern. Steve is an excellent host. Everything has been thought, down to spices in the kitchen that has granite countertops. Nothing not to love about the accommodations or the beautiful surroundings! Yes, we will be coming back!

Great host! Helped our family figure things out when needed. Street is very peaceful and quaint, but you can also easily walk a few blocks and be by shops and things downtown

Such a greet host! All we needed was there! The place is roomy, clean and has everything, kitchen, including entertainment! The host is responsive, communicates well from the beginning when we booked the place and they lay out clear expectations which is nice. I had an amazing stay at this charming one-bedroom apartment in downtown Lynchburg! The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of downtown, with fantastic restaurants, cozy cafes, and exciting activities all within walking distance. The apartment itself is lovely, very clean, and tastefully decorated. It’s cozy yet spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bedroom is comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hosts were wonderful – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Overall, this downtown apartment exceeded my expectations. If you're planning a visit to Lynchburg, I highly recommend staying here. This location at SML is great! Its close to everything including the water. I spent most of my evenings during my stay sitting on the dock and just enjoying the quiet and the scenery. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend renting a boat and just relaxing on the water. This was a great and complaint free experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hart’s place. They were so responsive and friendly when the dishwasher broke, they did everything they could to get it fixed quickly. They were always keeping me in the loop. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the downtown Lynchburg area!!

My wife and I stayed at Darren's and Fran's place for three nights while we were in town for a wedding. The area felt pretty safe, and it was relatively quiet during our stay (late May). The parking garage was extremely convenient. The apartment felt like a mini home and was stocked with everything you need for an extended weekend, plus lots of recommendations in their welcome book. Our favorite part was how extremely comfortable and soft the bed sheets were. Overall, we would recommend this cozy spot.

wonderful stay

Visited Amherst for a family members graduation. Chose this location because it was very close to my family and was easy access for my husband who is in stroke recovery. We were met upon arrival and received a friendly greeting. Everything was clean and plentiful. Privacy was respected, they even had a few snacks available. I only had one issue with the lock and that was beyond their control. (Battery). I had to call them at midnight. I truly hated to wake them up but they were very nice and accommodating about the situation. If I find the need to stay in Amherst again I will check to see if there’s availability.

Nice clean comfortable loft. Short business stay for us. We would definitely stay again. Jonathan is a great responsive host.

This was a perfect location for our extended family visit. Close to University of Lynchburg. Apartment was perfect size for our extended family. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
