Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Fontenay-le-Comte

We were welcomed by Serge who took the time to explain the rules of his home and the pool. Big highlight on the restaurants presented and activity. This is the first time I've seen a host take so much time to introduce us to everything. Keep it up. I recommend it without so much as a second thought and if we return to the area, I think we will take the place again.

Charming outbuilding in the countryside, ideal for disconnecting or making a stop not far from Puy du Fou. Welcoming and available hosts, we were able to meet their 2 adorable donkeys. Very well-equipped accommodation, comfortable bedding, impeccable cleanliness. We'll be happy to go back!

The location of the accommodation is very peaceful. Direct access to the marsh on foot as well as the loan of the boat are assets that made this stay all the more pleasant. Recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at Lotus Bleu in a relaxing setting. The sauna and jacuzzi in complete autonomy are a real plus. The cottage is well located which allowed us to discover the Poitevin Marsh and its piers, Niort, Fontenay le conte and the beaches of Faute sur mer. Liz and Gary were discreet hosts attentive to our comfort and responsive. We recommend 👍😀

We had a pleasant stay at Hervé's, who gave us very clear directions to find his accommodation. The apartment is very clean, very quiet and very well-equipped in the kitchen. It is easy to access and well located, close to amenities including a supermarket. Delighted with this accommodation, a second stay is planned at Hervé's.

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The property is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and downtown La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The property is also within walking distance of the train station.

The studio was perfect, well-equipped and close to La Rochelle. I would recommend it.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

This is the perfect location (for 2 people) close to the coast and a few kilometers from La Rochelle. The house has a private small garden, is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with good kitchen appliances. Two bicycles are available for trips in the area. Axel is a very considerate host, who is always available for questions or any problems. Recommended!

Maryse is a very nice and available host and she is also very accommodating for check-in and check-out when possible! The apartment is ideally located. We rented for our 3-day weekend and we did everything on foot! The parking space is a big plus. We highly recommend Maryse and her property! You can go there without so much as a second thought, you won't be disappointed! Very eager to return to La Rochelle in this very beautiful property, tastefully decorated and so well located in La Rochelle!

We had a lovely stay, with our 3-month-old son and our dog. The accommodation is really a stone's throw from the ocean, and close to beach shops (shops, bars, restaurants, etc...) which we really liked. Nathalie is very responsive: we thank her for the speed of these responses to the message. Small accommodation, but has everything you need when you leave for a few days of change of scenery. We would 100% recommend
