Cottage vacation rentals in Fontenay-le-Comte

Traveling for a conference in Niort, we stayed 5 days in Fabien's Airbnb. A peaceful little haven where we were able to enjoy the pool and terrace in the evening. The accommodation is spacious and pleasant 20 minutes from Niort. Fabien is very welcoming and responsive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend it

Charming house, very atypical! Corinne was welcoming and attentive. We were lucky to have good weather, and were able to enjoy the terrace (smaller indoor space for meals). The four bedrooms are very spacious.

Our hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The lodgings were wonderful, and their gardens are amazing!

Julie is a remarkable host in terms of her hospitality, kindness and availability. She always has a smile on her face. The house is very clean, impeccable bedding and many accessories in the kitchen The place is quiet, the pool is large enough to guarantee nice swims The hot tub and petanque court add a pluses to this rental I highly recommend this place. It is about 2 hours from the ocean, 1.5 hours from the Poitevin marsh.

Very beautiful house. Very nice! There is a lot in the kitchen and Melanie is right next door if needed! Melanie has prepared a book with all the activities / info to have that is very well done! A country home! The garden is perfectly enclosed, it was perfect with our dogs!

Mariusz is a friendly host. He provided us with a bottle of champagne soon after we had arrived. This little house is spacious for 2 people, the lounge is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. We had stayed at two of Mariusz's houses before so we were sure the accommodation would be excellent.

Linda is a very welcoming and very friendly host, who welcomes you with a big smile! Very available and discreet at the same time, we really had a great time! The little restaurants in the area are great and very affordable! The most pleasant thing is to be able to take walks along the canal in the shade, it's very quiet and relaxing. What to say... a very good welcome from our host, the house is spacious, the bedding perfect, everything we needed for our comfort (appliances, TV, wifi...) Very clean house, a beautiful plot in a very quiet space... And of course 20 minutes from Puy du Fou which makes it a perfect place. Thank you again.

Elisabeth was very welcoming. The cottage is carefully furnished and equipped, everything is practical, accessible and charming. The towels are fluffy and the quilts are gorgeous. The garden is conducive to cooing, foraging, and hide-and-seek. The surroundings offer beautiful possibilities for bike rides, boat rides... in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. A very nice stay, in ideal conditions, from which you leave refreshed and invigorated!

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. We had a beautiful nine days at Anne’s house. Anne was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Her house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Anne showed us where to hire bikes and we loved the area, especially the beach and Boulangerie Feuillette. Anne’s house is a great base for visiting Île de Ré and we would love to return to explore more. I would recommend Anne highly as a host. Merci, Anne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse, at La Blatiere. If you want to be off the beaten track in a very pretty and relaxing location, this is ideal, whilst there are also plenty of places to visit within an hour or so. The pool was also a big plus, which we used every day. The roads are very quiet with no traffic. We visited local places and also had chilled days 'on site' so the pool, the bikes to borrow and the games room were fun additions to have. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. a little gem that seduced us all, young and old in a quiet little village. What to visit nearby, enough to rest in this quiet place to have fun thanks to the pool and also thanks to the nearby outings, enough to eat and drink thanks to the different restaurants in the area (for adorable prices), enough to marvel at the shooting stars at night... in short, a refreshing vacation thanks to great people, good advice and concerned about our well-being thank you again and we hope to see you soon

I booked this place last minute for a few days, and despite his absence Cedric arranged for it to be possible. The house is ideally located, free parking 100 meters away to leave the car and the center of Vouvant a 3 minute walk away. I enjoyed the garden, the terrace and the calm, the presence of the 2 cats of the house , especially a very hug. Cédric sent us very clear explanatory photos and videos about his place and the access , it was great and was very accommodating for checkout. I recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

If you are looking for a quiet place, full of charm and surrounded by nature, Benoît and Mélanie's house is the perfect place to stay! It is tastefully decorated and the bedding is perfect (we slept like logs). Although very discreet, our hosts were very responsive when needed. The kitchen (although very nice) is not super functional for large preparations. The system that controls the velux window in one of the rooms is very, very delicate. It cost us €200 on our guarantee (for a single piloting error). So you have to be very careful.

Quiet, modern accommodation, consistent with the photos and very well-equipped. Olivier is very responsive, it's great and reassuring. 10/10 I would highly recommend 🌞

While staying in the area for the Puy du Fou, we booked the location for 4 and the accommodation was great! We will be back!

We were hosted very well by Valérie and her husband, they were very attentive to us (we were treated to jam and brioche upon arrival!) The house is even better in real life than in the photo. It is large and very pleasant, cool even when it is hot outside. We were able to fully enjoy the swimming pool and barbecue. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful weekend in this quiet and very pleasant place.
