From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. For an additional NOK 200 per day, there is 1 extra bedroom with a double bed on the second floor, (note, unfurnished loft room). There is all kitchen equipment, dishwasher, microwave oven etc. Has a fireplace, and wood is set up. There are nice hiking areas, fishing opportunities, a few minutes drive to the nearest shop, short distance to Mongstad industrial area.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
