There are nice hiking areas, fishing opportunities, a few minutes drive to the nearest shop, short distance to Mongstad industrial area.

Fishing from land in Kilstraumen, diving, kayaking, swimming are activities that are a good fit here. Boat rental is available upon agreement. Hiking trail of about 3 km in the forest/paths starts nearby, and at the barn there are opportunities for play and ball games. Crab cooker and fire pit are available for preparing the day's catch. Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
