Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

You can end the day comfortably by the fire pit and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a regular bus service to Walenstadtberg.

We were staying there to attend the WEF in Davos and selected because of proximity and price, however did not plan for the challenging journey to get to the property or back out of the area due to snowy/icy conditions and an ill-equipped rental car. However the interaction with Marlis was great, super friendly and helpful and the house itself and surroundings were lovely and would be great stay with better planning or in the summer.

It was super clean and there was everything you needed on site. Even an outlet to charge your gadgets (if you want. We wanted to have peace). Really great and we are planning a repeat. We had a wonderful stay at the Eco Alpine Chalet! Already upon arrival, we felt right at home. The description of the chalet was absolutely accurate and helped us a lot in the preparation. The chalet is furnished with an incredible amount of love for detail – you can immediately feel that a lot of passion has been put into it. Everything was super clean and cozy – just to feel good! The quiet location surrounded by nature makes the stay a real relaxing vacation. We highly recommend the Eco Alpine Chalet and will definitely be happy to come back!

Beautiful Maiensäss, where we enjoyed 3 quiet days. The rooms and facilities are very nicely done and everything you need is there. The cool rainy days offered the opportunity to fire up the stoves, which contributed a lot to the cozy cottage feeling. If you like the modern and still look for simplicity, this is the place to be. We would come back in a heartbeat.
