Beach and nature log cabin

A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

Welcome to Skogshuset Solhaga! Here you can enjoy the tranquility, go on adventures in the forest and discover the typical Småland. The house, which is newly renovated and modernly decorated, is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the Småland archipelago. It offers all amenities and from the garden a path leads to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and a child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

For the true nature lover! Here you forget the time and feel alone in the world. You will be staying in a fully off-grid cottage on the lake with private jetty and fire pit. There is a hot outdoor shower and outdoor toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fire and refrigerator incl. freezer compartment. There is 1 double bed on a mezzanine. On the lake there is also a free rowboat and a barrel sauna that you can rent. For every 7 nights you get 1 sauna session for free. Last 100m not accessible by car!

A charming Attefallshus in the heart of Västervik that offers you hotel feel. 4-5 minutes hiking and you are right in the middle of beautiful Västervik. In a few minutes you reach Gamlebyviken for a lovely morning walk. A newly built small house of 25m2 with bathroom, kitchen & bedroom. Open-plan with double bed. Small kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and fridge with freezer. Bathroom with shower, floor heating and towel dryer. A small cozy deck outside the sliding window section.

Newly renovated garden house for 5 people

Our garden house is a newly renovated accomodation located close to baths, golf and nature with walking distance to the town centre-approximately 10-15 minutes. The house is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven and a microwave oven and all the kitchen utensils you might need. During the summer months you also have access to a barbecue. One bathroom with toilet and a shower cubicle. There are 5 beds; one king size bed, one bunk bed and one sofa bed. We wish you very welcome!

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.

Villa Kruthuset is a newly built vacation home (2023) with a personal touch and a unique, secluded location for meetings & gatherings. Located in the outer archipelago and Femöre Nature Reserve, with the possibility of both an active stay and time for recovery. Enjoy a sauna, kayak trip, or cook together. There is plenty of space for socializing and wonderful dinners, as well as the opportunity to close the door behind you (7 bedrooms - 8 beds including bed linens and towels).

Opposite the cottage about 10-15 meters there is a separate small cottage where there may be other tenants who rent, alternatively if you need more beds than the four offered in this cottage you can rent this cottage.
