Waterfront vacation rentals in Fjord

The views were incredible. The space itself met our needs during our stay. It was nice to be able to walk to the market, to the water and some local restaurants.

Despite late arrival, we were immediately "found" and warmly received. The spacious apartment is functional and nicely furnished; it has (with fresh flowers) looked at us very hospitably. Linda and her husband are always speaking, willingly giving tips, are very friendly and accessible. The river right next door is of course omnipresent due to the noise. The magnificent scenery and its richness also of berries and mushrooms are impressive. In summer, almost everything is closed, including the gastronomy. Alternatives to vacation activities in bad weather or rental options are rare (bring everything you need: books, games, diving equipment, boat, sup, etc.).

The apartment is very nicely decorated and is located right on the fjord and in the center of town. Many excursions can be started directly from here. We enjoyed out stay here very much. The views out the back windows of the fjord are beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful. Areas of the house are under renovation, but those areas can be avoided, and Tore gave us a heads up about it. The bathroom is newly updated and they did a great job. We would stay here again for sure.

The house suited us perfectly; two adults and a 12-year-old girl. It was private and quiet. You sometimes hear the traffic from the road that runs close behind, but it is a lightly traveled road. The garden goes directly down to the fjord and has lovely fruit trees and bushes. You can fish from the garden or walk about 100 meters and reach a small harbor. We caught a mackerel and a pollack in the week we were there. For families with small children, it might make sense to note that there is a slightly slippery and steep staircase to the upper floor. The view from both the kitchen and living room is out to the mountains and the fjord - it is very beautiful, so even when it rains you can enjoy the Norwegian nature. We felt home and very comfortable in the house. We look forward to and hope to return.

Very nice place to stay. Our host was very nice and helpful. She gave us good instructions and let us know we could contact her anytime if we needed something. The house is very nice, clean and the beds are comfortable. Nice yard with table and chairs. We would stay here again.
