Vacation rentals with a fire pit in False Bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ondine. The house was great, clean and well kept. It has a lovely grass area and pool with a beautiful view. Leon was a great host! Would definitely go back again.

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

This was such a memorable experience. Spotless, beautiful,modern and at a good location. Enjoyed the king size bed and coffee and all the amenities. Alines dad was friendly,responsive and availing. I love the interior furnishings specifically the bath and the quiet tranqulity of the home as well the close proximity to whale coast mall and the waterfront. I would recommend this place to others and it was a wonderful commemoration of my parent's 70th birthday. .

Louis's cottage was immaculate and exactly what we needed for the weekend. He's done some lovely alterations to the cottage and it's filled with personal photographs of the beautiful Cape. He communicated well with us, and we knew exactly what to expect. The beds were comfy and the place spotless. I especially loved having a washing machine and tumble dryer available - THANK YOU! Walking to the beach with my morning coffee was such a treat. We'll ba back! :-)

We loved our stay, a little retreat snuck away in nature, while still central and close to all amenities. The landscaping was done very inteligently, creating such good privacy to the main road, framing beautiful vistas from the lounge and main bedroom without a need for boundary walls. The social spaces are very well arranged and the games room upstairs is such an enjoyable space. We were all.enchanted by the semi private path to the beach over the bridge and through the vlei, with all the birds and insects. We were visited by an otter and there were two hadedas that slept every night on the roof ridge. There is no TV and the main room upstairs doesn't have a door, which might put some people off but we didn't mind. The house is very well-equipped and we were very comfortable. The outdoor shower is lovely and the social spaces are very well organized, especially the enclosed verandah, which is perfect for an afternoon nap or a lively family meal time around the braai. Justyna's place was a perfect weekend getaway with friends. A super host and a wonderful time spent there! Will definitely consider coming back later in the year. Huge garden, we had so much fun just Picnic'ing outside, accessible for runs as well, and took a lovely walk in the surrounding areas of the house. The pool water should have been warmer, as that was one of the main reasons for booking the house. Especially in winter climate. But other than that, stunning place! 10/10

The stay at the villa was very wonderful and the owner of the villa, Catherine, was very kind and helpful. The villa is private and has everything you need.

Great experience. Good support from hosts. Clean and well-equipped. A bit off the beaten track, so a car is needed, but in a tranquil and safe part of Durbanville. Can recommend.

The perfect spot for our weekend in kalk bay. Easily walkable to the mountain and the ocean. Great restaurants, shops, book stores and art galleries. The hosts were friendly and helpful and also left us to our privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Words cannot describe the location of this property. Literally ON the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Private and tranquil. Honestly just felt like heaven when on the deck by the pool looking out over this setting. A little jealous that I don’t get to live there. 😉 Absolutely stunning.

A lovely stay with great amenities. Peaceful and can hear the ocean at night. A great place for anyone looking to slow down from city life. Rod has done a great job with the place and was super helpful in us planning our itinerary. 10/10 would recommend ;)

Thera was such a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful, and she made us feel so comfortable and at home in her beautiful garden cottage. The perfect place for a break from the city, Thera had put so much thought into making the space as relaxing as possible. Try and book on a rainy day, the sound of the rain on the roof was such a treat, and the cottage stayed warm and cosy.

We had such a lovely time! The place was incredibly clean and tidy, which made settling in so easy. We especially loved how peaceful and secluded it felt — the quiet surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. It was cosy and comfortable, just the way we enjoy our getaways. This spot is a perfect winter staycation, and we’d definitely book again!

Very nice place to stay. Maybe a warning that other people are on horses around the farm and the dam is not very accessible or easy to swim in.

We had a perfect stay at Debbie's Fish Eagle cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a win. We loved being so deep in nature. The dam was perfect for us to paddle on. Debbie and James her assistant were friendly and helpful. It was a slice of heaven. Thankyou for the perfect getaway.

Bonnie and David were such lovely hosts. A very warm and friendly couple. It felt like a home away from home. The cabin was so cozy and don’t even get me started on the garden. Absolutely stunning! It felt as though we were out in nature. An absolute gem. Definitely a go to when in Somerset.

Loved staying here with two friends. We had the fire going the whole weekend and went for walks in the nature reserve. Such beautiful surroundings!
