Sörmjöle is located on the coast about 20 km south of Umeå. There are buses to Umeå several times a day. In the village, there is a convenience store, and Hörnefors is about eight kilometers away – there are grocery stores, a pharmacy, bathhouse, gym and train station.

Our favorites on the farm, besides our cats and our dog, are a small hedgehog family which we are very fond of.

This is tho cottage for you if you like to visit a traditional Swedish house, and like a place to relax. But here is also many possibilities for activities. From the fishermen in the harbor, you can buy fresh and processed fish. If you prefer really lazy days, there is a well-known restaurant right next door, open daily during June-August.
