House vacation rentals in Faja da Ovelha

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

This is once of the most beautiful villas we have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. The open plan space is lovely and the views are stunning. Emanuel was an excellent host, and responded immediately with any queries we had. I will definitely be coming back to this villa with other members of my family.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

This place is awesome! Elvio is the best host. Clear instructions and directions (it’s a tricky place to find) but his instructions were perfect. The pool is private and a good home base after lots of hiking. We recommend hiking as early as possible and going back to enjoy the pool later. The restaurant up the mountain from the house is amazing (Calheta Green). And a recommendation from the host. Love this place!

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

The space was beautiful. We loved the decor and the large doors that brought brightness with a view of the beautiful courtyard with the pool. We were hosted very well by a very good host. What a nice touch! Susana also gave us several restaurant recommendations and communication was great. It took 8 minutes to drive to the city center. We found all the essentials to cook well. The accommodation was clean, but I can't ignore the shower. There was mold and, personally, despite the scent that had been added, I found the smell of dampness and mold unpleasant. Everything else was impeccable!

We had a great time at the Airbnb. The view of the sea is great. The kitchen is very well equipped. Only the range of the WiFi could be improved, as it does not reach the upper floor.

This place is beautiful and peaceful. It is about an hour drive from Funchal, but there are lots of little towns all along the way. We had a wonderful stay.

Nice appartement with a beautiful terrasse. Probably our favorite place to hang out. I. Front of the house, the access to the water was incredible. So close, such clear blue water. Very dreamy. The apartment was well furnished. Kitchen fully equipped with even a blender and juice maker. Everything was comfortable and nice and cozy. Just know that there is a bar downstairs, so you will hear music and people chatting, but the bar is a nice place and we loved it

Paul do Mar is a dreamy fishing village. The sea is right in front of the village and you can hear the waves inside and it is then pretty much the only sound you hear from outside the apartment. The apartment is on three levels, upstairs laundry and a sheltered terrace. On the middle floor, bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs, there is an entrance hall, living room and kitchen. The apartment is really neat and has everything you need, even for a longer stay, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. I worked and the Wifi worked great. I also went swimming and snorkeling every day. A few very nice and varied hiking trails leave the village - be prepared for a steep climb (and descent) There are a few average restaurants in the village and larger shopping trips should be made at the nearest Continent (20 min by car. In front of the local restaurant, there is a daily bread truck with a fantastic selection of pastries :) This apartment is one of the best I've ever stayed in 5/5

We liked the place and felt very comfortable. Communication was friendly and fast and we were provided with all the information. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived and a bottle of wine and water and a traditional spice cake were ready for us as a welcome. We were very pleased about that. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. I would like to highlight the showers, which were not only very spacious, but also the fantastic water pressure, which made showering very pleasant. The complex is designed around the parking lot, so that units 1-5 are below the parking lot and the large 6 (the house we stayed in) is directly connected to the parking lot. So you always have a free parking space, no matter when you arrive. The village character of the place occasionally leads to dogs barking and the rooster crowing, but that didn't bother us. We will be back.

Everything was perfect! The host was super friendly. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, the place was clean and exactly as described. When we had a small issue, the host responded quickly and solved it right away. Check-out was just as easy. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely brilliant place! So comfortable and clean and it has everything you need.

We had a great time at the house. Kevin reacts fast on questions. Location is great with an amazing view on the ocean. Our kids enjoyed the garden room and the garden itself. Small improvements are possible to make it great: the garden room is not "air tight" so insects can easily go inside, since it was raining a lot before we arrived there were a lot of small millipede insects inside (even after removing they were there already a couple of hours later). And not all pictures show the current state (some accessories are not there anymore). Besides those things we had a perfect time and would recommend the house :)

Accommodation at Marc's was very original. The whole house is very tastefully furnished and looks very cozy. The equipment is also of a high standard. You can watch the sunset from the terrace and it's just a few steps to the ocean. Someone grows bananas behind the house, which was also interesting for us. We loved it. I fell in love with the loft room.

We had a fantastic stay at Filipe’s home, which is beautiful and really thoughtfully designed. It’s very well appointed, spotlessly clean and in a very charming little village away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, but still accessible by car. Communication was excellent and the fruit and biscuits were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

We (two couples) had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The house is a little more spacious than we thought. Nice view. Lovely swimming pool. On this slope, there were sometimes clouds, so the sun did not always show itself. For restaurants, you have to take the car. Hosts always responded quickly to a message from us. All in all recommended!
