The house has a nice view of the house. The distribution of bedrooms and common areas is very good and the mattresses and pillows are in good condition. It's a comfortable home to spend time as a family!

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at La Maga. The place is as described and as seen in the pictures. We agree with all of the previous reviews, in that the place is surrounded by nature. We had monkeys come visit one morning and saw various Toucan birds near the house. Our favorite part was walking the path to town each day where we encountered more birds. There are other paths to nearby to explore, so bring a light/torch for a self-guided night walk. This place is perfect for nature lovers. The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking your own meals (although there are many good restaurants in town). There is hot water for the showers. Martita was a great and responsive host and was available for my questions.

Karina was very kind at all times. She was attentive. The apartment is highly recommended and she was a super good host. Thanks for all the help she gave us

Excellent host and apartment

Everything was perfect. The location is ideal and the place super magical, relaxing and cute. The only bad thing is that we could not use the bathtub because the water was too dirty, maybe it's because the water came directly from the river. Otherwise, everything is beautiful.

It is a place surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the vegetation of the Andean Chocó, the singing and company of birds typical of the sector and you can easily access the river water. Easy access by family vehicle.

This place is amazing! The location is beautiful, it’s in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature and animals. The service was perfect, excellent contact, always there to help and super friendly. The lodge itself had everything we wished for and the outside biopool was a nice surprise. While traveling to Mindo, don’t hesitate to go here because it is exactly the stay you need 😍

The cabins were very nice, clean and spacious. There is space for campfires and barbecues. The owner is very friendly and generous. Totally recommended 😃

This place is beautiful and in the heart of the Intag valley. Directions to find the place- search “Birds Nest” before you lose service. You’ll see a 2- story brick building, turn and go down that gravel road for 3K then you’ll see it.

It is a very clean place, and very safe. Paul was an excellent host, easy vehicle access and the best thing is that we felt right at home and for my next visits I would definitely return
